16 Mixed feelings on this hotel. Sadly it was the best experience we've had in awhile in the area but there were still several things inconvenient with the hotel that together might prevent us from coming back
+Welcoming and efficient front staff
+Warm pool, even if we couldn't enjoy it long due to a mother throwing diving toys at our heads and covering her face after each time at her bad aim like a mime
+Location close to several restaurants and diners
+Good quality soaps and lotions from Dove
+Clean bathroom
+Spacious room
+Decent breakfast choices
+Firm and soft pillow per person, labeled
-No outlets on one side of the bed, and the alarm clock outlet on the other side didn't work, even trying to flip switches on and off. The only way to charge your phone is to unplug the light, which we discovered too late at checkout
-Inefficient blackout curtains behind the sheers that don't block light at all
-Thin walls where you can hear the single elevator all night and children screaming
So clean and nice hotel, but you can't charge your phones or sleep in due to noise and light
We had a lovely time and enjoyed the staff. They were friendly and helpful and we had a nice clean quiet stay. Will definitely be back.
When we travel we always look for holiday Inn express, the quality and Cleanliness is always spot on.
Making an online reservation should not be a crapshoot, but with 75 million sites to choose from, you really need to have some kind of degree to understand everything your getting into. That being said, if someone books, and pays, for an accessible room and the reservation is accepted, then if you can't accommodate upon arrival, a refund should be a non issue. This already is affecting me more than you, at least give me my money back.
Worst night I've ever spent in a hotel. TV didn't work. Front desk promised 3 times to send someone.never did. Toilet ran all night. Same deal. Loud.kids running around all night. Clerk refused to address it. Never again.

I must say.management was very good about my complaint.and did their best to make it right and make me happy.let's change 'never again' yo 'I'll give 'em another chance'.

Asked front desk for 2 rooms to be cleaned as we were out ALL day came back to only one clean. Lady helping with breakfast in morning was amazing. She was the highlight of the hotel

Nice hotel. The pool has alot of chlorine but other than that the breakfast is great and the rooms are really clean.
Visited Syracuse from Boston for graduation. Excellent experience with this hotel. Highly recommend. Staff was courteous and friendly. Rooms were clean with plenty of space. Breakfast was excellent too. Hot items, good coffee and muffins. They even had a make your own pancakes machine.
I’m going to be honest I never stayed here. But my disabled brother did work. And I say did because he was let go due to the fact he supposedly worked too slow and didn’t do the work up to the location’s standards. The same brother who work Disney for 12 years without an issue and had no only co-workers and mangers sorry to see him go but the guest who came regularly. So obviously he does not have poor work ethic because Disney is the stature most employers hold their employees to. The breath not only amazing customer service but above and beyond work ethic. And let’s face it this hotel does not even come close to the amount of business that Disney does. Don’t worry he will be okay, but I will not recommend this location to work or stay. I really don’t care what excuses you guys might have but I know my brother and his work ethic as long as he shown and taught. He didn’t want to sit home and collect disability but work even though he’s disabled. And with all of the greatness that came from Disney the opposite came from working at this establishment. Thank you for tearing my brother down. I hope your future employees will not have to face this discrimination. Added to the fact of my brothers six months there they have been through three executive housekeeper‘s, rotation after a rotation of housekeepers, and two front desk managers but you’re right it’s probably my brothers work ethic. He doesn’t know what he’s doing, it could potentially be the general manager, but you know I really don’t know anything it’s not like I spent four years working at a front desk of a hotel or anything. But keep trucking through Holiday Inn. I’m sure one of these days you’ll get a staff that’s gonna stay for example front desk managers, executive house, keepers, laundry attendant, housekeepers, front desk you got this.
Worst holiday inn i’ve been to.no where to plug anything in nothing but yelling and running up the halls.i’m laying here in bed just on my phone and an ant starts crawling on me as there’s snow on the ground.disgusting rooms aren’t very nice the shower head is so gunned up it looks like it’s never ever been cleaned.will be checking for bed bugs since there’s ants
I want to take this opportunity to thank Robert at the Front Desk upon arrival and departure. He was kind and friendly as we arrived on Feb 3rd for two nights after a grueling & scary drive in white out and wind conditions on the Thruway. After we checked into our room we noticed that we had brought a lot of salt into the room from outside. We had our little dog with us for the stay and asked if someone could come and vaccuum up the salt so she didn't try to eat it. To our surprise and delight the General Manager, Jeff, came in and did a great job vaccuuming the area. Thanks Jeff. Another terrific employee was Eliza who was making and supporting the morning breakfast. She was so friendly and kept thanking us for being IGH members. She also loved our dog Sarah and gave her biscuits. Having all these wonderful staff at the hotel is an asset to the company! Thanks for a nice stay!
Very good place and reasonable price. Room quality was quite high and their breakfast is awesome and varied. The lady at who supervised breakfast haul was very nice and helpful (Liza if I’m not mistaken).
Highly recommended for exhausted travellers!
UPDATE: Customer service gave me a call and refunded the night, which I appreciate. They had extended damage during that night and called us a few days later. Overall cannot say I’ve enjoyed my stay, but at least didn’t pay for it. Thanks anyway!

We had the worst experience yesterday for our stay. We arrived at 2: 30 am to get some sleep and person at office couldn’t figure out a way to find us rooms to fit 5 people, which one of them ended up without bed sheets.
There was people hosted at the hotel for some kind of tournament during the weekend and there was so much noise, we couldn’t get more than an hour of sleep. People kept yelling and playing music in the hallway until 5h30 am.
Spoke to office in the morning during the checkout, was supposed to set something up with the manager during the day and give me a call back. Haven’t heard from them yet.
I don’t think I could recommend anything from our stay unfortunately.
A fantastic all around experience from the room to the breakfast and stay and ride shuttle service. Liza was my shuttle driver and she was extremely helpful and accommodating. All of the staff I interacted with during my stay greatly contributed to this class act operation with a family feel. They will continue to be my go to choice whenever I fly from Syracuse.
