Holiday Inn Plainview-Long Island, an IHG Hotel reviews
16Dirty face cloth hanging in shower upon check in, clogged drain in shower. Other than that room was clean, the king bed semi comfortable, spacious room and friendly helpful front desk
Wonderful! Kind and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Centrally located. Great overnight trip.
The hotel is dated and oddly laid out. Key cards frequently stopped working and the staff were short and not overly friendly. The food however, was good. I ordered a Cajun chicken pasta and it was nice and spicy; the roasted tomatoes were sweet and balanced it well. The side salad that was nearly an extra $10 was literally just greens.
Convenient location and decent repair, but we were in an accessible room and it was way in the back basement. Room too small to be really accessible, but did have nice bathroom features.
Bistro 42 is the reason to visit this property. While it comes up as a stand alone restaurant, it is in the Holiday Inn.
It was one of the better hotel meals I have had. The wedge salad was fresh and crisp.
The salmon was cooked perfectly.
The vegetables could have been hotter. The presentation was adequate. Serving size was good.
The bartender Ethan was an old school professional, casual yet attentive.
Plenty of free parking.
The entrance is beautiful inside. Staff are pleasant. But, rooms are full of junked furniture. My bed is broke. Lights have nothing holding the glass shade to it. The air handler is in the bathroom with the return and noisy as all heck. And the guests are beyond loud
Not crazy about the layout. Rooms open into an exterior corridor. Also the window of the room faces the exterior corridor. The service and onsite restaurant was excellent
The woman at the front desk, I believe her name was Samantha was extremely rude. We are visiting NY due to a death in the family and the last thing we need is a Condescending nasty attitude.
In a windowless basement. The heat/ac rattled when it’s on and my whole floor reeks of weed. Not just a slight smell… permeating through the room. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Such false advertising in the site and images.
Very clean hotel, Holiday Inn has been gaining our our favorite hotel chart on the last few visits, very impressed with the cleanliness and ease of chk out and in!
Room was not comfortable for 3 ladies. It had no full length mirror; only mirror was above bathroom sink. Toilet seat broke and when we told front desk it was not fixed and remained broken for the rest of our stay. On Sunday morning we had no hot water for showers; this was our third day there.
Beds were very soft and not comfortable. Rooms not well insulated from noise.we heard voices and TVs all night. Front desk not very responsive to our needs. Would have to think twice about staying there again
On our
I went there, my family and I, and we gotta say, it was an amazing experience! We could see the entire city at its finest! The service is good.and the rooms were very neat!
Called from my room phone and was told by a woman on night shift on Oct 7th (3: 45am) that I could not have late check out because they were sold out. I checked online and they aren’t sold out on their site or on Priceline. I called on my cell to ask if they were sold out & she said no. Lol
What a fabulous hotel. The people, residents, staff and shopkeepers made our stay memorable.
Excellent service, great food, and amazing location. Highly recommended for business or personal stay.
We stayed here for one night when going to a wedding nearby. It was clean enough, and the bed was comfortable. But it seems none of the rooms have windows to the outside. The windows look into the hallway. Also, the bathroom is in the back of the room, so the bed is right by the door. In our room, it sounded like someone was opening our door and coming into our room anytime anyone opened or closed a door in the hallway. It was very loud and woke us several times in the middle of the night. Also there's no breakfast at all. The restauarant in the lobby opens only for dinner.
