Holland Tunnel Ventilation Shaft 2 reviews
17This one is far superior to Holland Tunnel Ventilation Shaft 1. Who knew sequels could be better than the original!
It's not just a ventilation shaft, not just the Holland Tunnel Ventilation Shaft, no, it is the marvelous Holland Tunnel Ventilation Shaft TWO! It's a big, beautiful, girthy shaft, a marvel of shaft construction and welcomes all shaft admirers.
One of the best ventilation shafts (or venty as I call it) in the tri-state area, If not the whole north east. Stick to week days to avoid the crowds.
I brought my out of town guest to see this shaft and they all agreed; it’s the best shaft in NYC, possibly all of the US. We could hardly hear each other over the traffic and rushing fumes. Don’t forget, it’s byob still so bring the wine and have a blast getting fume blasted with your family and friends.
I have been to many ventilation shafts before, but this one takes the cake. Despite being 'Ventilation Shaft 2' it is surely Ventilation Shaft #1 in my heart.
Amazing display of shaft building capabilities. Fell in and found the secret to life. It is so simple, all you need to do is b-
Holland Tunnel Ventilation Shaft 2 is so amazing, it makes Lincoln Tunnel Humidity and Temperature Control Center look like the George Washington Bridge Maintenance Crew Facilities.
Almost didn't review because I didn't want to give away my favorite hidden gem in the city. A must visit for shaft snobs and freshies alike.
They don’t make them like they used to. If you find yourself looking over west Hudson and see a couple of interesting shafts — it’s Ventilation Shaft 2. The bouncer on Wednesday’s is tough. Best odds of getting in are Tuesdays around noon. Bring cash, small cover at the door.
Used to be five stars but like most hidden gems in this city, word spread and then it got crowded and overpriced. I'm not sure if it's a new ownership group or something. There's often fights about who's in control.
Anyway, all the cool kids are at the MTA ventilation shaft on 63rd and 2nd these days. They serve decent negronis there.
I'm so happy that I managed to visit the best ventilation shaft in New York. One less bucket list item to do in my life?
The finest shaft I have ever laid eyes on. Remarkably straight, wide enough to get the job done, and the ventilation keeps the smell nice and crisp.
One of the best Ventilation Shafts in the city. My girlfriend and I came by last weekend and got in with very little wait time. We very able to inhale the fumes almost immediately and could tell right away the vents were in top shape (far, far better than Shafts 1,3, and 4). Well worth cancelling our Broadway tickets for this!
Skip the Holland Tunnel Ventilation Shaft 1 and head straight to this. You won’t be disappointed.
Nice little walkway that leads to the building with a good view of the New York and Jersey city skylines
The Holland Tunnel uses cashless tolls and connects New York with New Jersey. It takes between 20-30 minutes to cross the Hudson River using the tunnel.
This is a ventilation tower let fresh air goes into Holland Tunnel. Almost hundred years history
