The Home2 Suites in Queensbury was a light, happy and clean haven after a bad experience at a nearby property.

After relocating with Maegan's help, from a VERY bad lodging stay, the team at this property were just that beacon of light i desperately needed. AMAZING service a VERY high level of cleanliness at a brand that truly cares.

Great location with easy highway access.
Note: traveling with a small dog who loved it too!)

KUDOS Maegan, Elizabeth and the staff of Home2 Suites by Hilton Queensbury! You are amazing and i will definitely return!

Called the number provided in the reply to this review many times and never received a reply or callback of any kind. Not surprised. Steer clear of this dump. Also when we checked out early they kept all our points.
If you want to stay at a beautiful clean and wonderful hotel, try the Hampton inn and suites in lake George NY! We went there instead twice now and it’s wonderful!

We had high hopes for this hotel but it was disappointing right from the beginning. Very dirty when we arrived and worn out. The thermostat wouldn’t go any lower than 64 and it was so hot trying to sleep. The surface of the counter was nasty and grungy with smears. The floor by the window had food crumbs and little pieces of random stuff like it wasn’t vacuumed. The shower floor was dirty and smeared with dirt and had nasty hairs in it. We left early to find a nicer hotel because this was just gross.
At 1am a bunch of people came and got so loud and rowdy none of us could sleep! They were slamming the doors and talking so loud that our sons medical alert service animal was on high alert all night and couldn’t rest either. They had their doors wide open on either side of our room yelling back and forth to each other. They were also cooking on little electric grills they brought in and all you could smell was burning onions and food. By this time it was around 2am. They stayed up till around 3: 30 am yelling laughing and banging the doors and walls. Worst hotel stay ever.
For the price I would have expected a much cleaner and not so noisy hotel. Sad we had to switch hotels but I wasn’t using that nasty shower and losing another night of sleep. Added pics of the room because it’s unbelievable for the price they charge. More like a truck stop motel than anything else.

The wife and I stayed here and had an amazing time. The staff went out of their way to check in on us and make us feel at home. The rooms were gorgeous and incredibly clean. By far the best hotel experiment we have ever had.

My husband and I visited Saratoga last weekend and stayed here at Home2 Suites Queensbury. We were welcomed to the hotel with friendly faces and staff that gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants & activities!

The room was spotless! We felt right at home during our stay.

The hotel was in the perfect location. It was close to the highway and easy for us to travel to both Saratoga and Lake George. I’m so happy we chose this hotel for our stay!

Horrible experience. Probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I booked this hotel months ago and informed the staff that I would be coming for a wedding and was booking because they had 3PM checkin rather than 4PM like a lot of hotels in the area. I had to get ready for the wedding at the hotel. I called again the day before the wedding to remind them that I was coming for a wedding and that any early check in would be great. They said to call in the morning. I called in the morning and they said that I could check in by 2PM. Unfortunately, I did not get to check in at 2PM. That’s fine. However, I could not even get in at 3PM. The room was still not ready and the staff at the front desk did not seem to care and could not tell me why it was not ready. It seemed like this was a typical occurrence. Me and my spouse and another guest had to get ready in the lobby bathroom because the hotel had not prepared our room. We still were unable to checkin even after 3PM, so we had to leave for the wedding without checking in. Checking in before the wedding and getting ready in a hotel room was the only reason I booked the room. When I arrived after the wedding, the staff was unapologetic, did not care at all, and acted like my experience was a typical experience. It also seemed like nobody had any idea why the room was not ready, and it was unclear who was in charge at the hotel. It was very poorly run. Worst hotel experience of my life.

The only bad thing is that they don't clean the room that frequently, even when you request it.

I am a very frequent traveler and I am never one to complain but I am greatly disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel on September 23rd. We spent the day traveling and it was around 9pm when we checked in. We went up to our room and we were given the wrong room type then what I already booked and already paid for and it was the only reason I even chose to stay at this hotel. I always get a 1 bedroom suite and it is significantly more money then the others (around 400 bucks a night) So I went back downstairs to sort it out while my two friends were in the room still. When I went to the front desk and told the women that she gave me the wrong room type she told me repeatedly no, that I was in the right room, they don't have those suites at that hotel. When I kept telling her that I am sure I booked that type of room, she then said that there was only 1 of those rooms but I was forsure in the right room. I honestly was too tired to even deal with it and I was prepared on just eating the extra cost for the room and just went back to the room she assigned. When I got to my room, my key didn't work anymore which I thought was weird. So I knocked on the door and my friends let me in. We started to eat and relax when a few minutes later, two men (other guests) used their keys and came into our room while we were in there! She assigned the people that checked in right after us the same exact room we were in. So three women got walked in on by two men at 10pm at night. I again walked downstairs with the two men and told her. She asked me if we were in the room and if our stuff was still in there. And I told her yes. She then assigned me and my guests a new room and she gave the two men our room we were already in! At the point I just wanted a new room anyway because we were really freaked out that strangers had access so we went to the new room. But the other guests went right in the room we were in. It was not re cleaned or anything for them. After all is said and done we went to the new room and to my surprise it was the 1 bedroom suite that I originally booked and paid for in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous experience and totally unacceptable. I was repectful and understanding the whole time and was going to just keep then wrong room without complaint until those guests walked in on us. The employee did not even apologize for anything.

I spoke to the nastiest manager on the phone! Rude and disrespectful! If Amy the manager talks like that on the phone how would she treat you as a guest! I didn’t even dtay there yet! Amy you should not be in customer service. The Hilton should run from you!

Great concept. But I didn't know they allow pets.

Barking dogs on the same floor isn't conducive to sleep. Won't be back.

This place is excellent! Dog friendly, which was great, complementary breakfast, excellent location, and really clean. I felt the room was spacious and enjoyable. My only things were the bed/pillow wasn't too my preference, yet still good, and the room had just a few touches of clean that make it a 9 instead of a 10. TV was a little challenging, but managable (some channels didn't work or were listed but not available). These are minor in comparison to the pluses of the room.

Overall, lovely hotel with great features including a nice gym, with peloton bike, pool, and really, the pet friendly was such a nice bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Nathan at front desk was amazing. He definitely went above and beyond to accommodate us after we found bugs in the econolodge down tbe street. Very very nice stay highly recommended

I wasn’t going to write this review but this was the tip of the ice berg and I want to make a complaint. We are frontline nurses and we finally booked a vacation and drove 4 hours to book a stay at your hotel. After we left, I saw a charge of $75 for a pet fee. We do not own a pet. I called and spoke to an associate named Maria and she referred me to her manager Amy. I was told there was pet hair in the room and I need to pay a fee. I repeatedly told her we don’t have a pet and she was very rude telling me housekeeping found pet hair. She then told me to take it up to Expedia. I was later told after speaking to several associates that I would be refunded by Hilton customer service but I still do not appreciate the service. The elevators were not working and there were stains on the pillow even though I was told there were extra pillows in the cupboards. We also requested more towels and they took 5 hours to bring the towels. The staff at the hotel was extremely rude and I’d like to be compensated/partial refund for the inconvenience.

It was so good, the lady's at the front were soo nice and helpful. For the price i definitely recommand theres big bottle of shampoo's, lotion and more. The rooms are big enough for a lot of people the hotel is spacious and clean you can find everything you need in your room you got a microwave, a big and small fridge. If i go to another trip i'll definetly come again in one of hilton's hotel.

I book the room with king size bed. When I got there they gave me 2 queen bed. They downgraded me for first night. They said they sold out the room I paid for. Shower had rust stain. Room was clean but bed was uncomfortable.

We chose this hotel (booked directly on Hilton Website) as they have a 1 bedroom suite with a separate living room. This was necessary for us as we were traveling with a baby and needed room.
Upon arrival we were informed that the we were not assigned the room we booked and were instead given a queen bedroom. The hotel was booked and the best they could do is move us the next day. The night staff also informed me that the day manager on Saturday could issue a credit for the inconvenience.
Upon speaking with the day manager on Saturday she informed me that she was going to issue the credit and that it would reflect on my statement upon checkout.
At this point switching the room was no an option as it would not be ready until late afternoon.
Sunday upon checkout I was informed that the credit was not reflected and that they could not do that. Monday after speaking with the front desk I was informed that they would not issue a credit due to the error on their part and I had to contact Hilton.

Skip this location as no one seems to know what they are doing and blatantly lies to customers.

EDIT AFTER RESPONS FROM MANAGEMENT.
Manager stated that they were working to address my concerns. I was dismissed by the front desk manager Amy who said I should call corporate as there is nothing that could be done to resolve the issue at the location.
Also mentioned was that I received points which I did not.

Great suites, rooms are updated nice and clean.
Its a perfect place to stay when your visiting the Lake George area, The staff were nice and helpful.

We encountered challenges with the customer service during our recent stay at the hotel. The staff at the front desk could benefit from a more welcoming approach and a friendlier demeanor. Our choice of this hotel was primarily influenced by the availability of a 1-bedroom suite, as we were accompanied by our 5-month-old baby and a 2-year-old. The specific room arrangement was crucial to us, given our baby's frequent nighttime awakenings, necessitating a separate sleeping space.

Regrettably, upon arrival, we were assigned a double bed room instead of the 1-bedroom suite that we had reserved and expected. Despite our efforts to explain the situation, the staff was unable to accommodate our needs and this process consumed a considerable amount of time (1 hour and 30 minutes). As a result, our stay in Lake George proved to be notably unpleasant, with none of us getting proper rest for the duration of our two-day stay.

In light of these circumstances, we feel compelled to express our dissatisfaction with the level of service provided by the desk manager, which did not meet our expectations.
