Homewood Suites by Hilton - Syracuse/Carrier Circle, East Syracuse NY

I had an extended stay here during the coronavirus outbreak. Ms. Roberta and her team did an outstanding job trying to be accommodating to the guests. From trying to take care of daily breakfasts to other normal routines you’d expect from a Homewood, they made admirable efforts during times not seen in our lifetime. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Ms. Roberta and her crew are amazing.

They practiced social distancing, the hotel was clean and they made sure you knew it was clean with Lysol branded stickers in the door, bathroom mirrors and remotes.

It took me a minute to write this review because I was hurt by my experience with hotel. I don't know what type of fraudulent business Roberta have going down but I am not the one. I visited this hotel Jan 24th-Jan26th, 2020. First thing
about my room the housekeeper did not properly clean my room. I had my husband go home to get Clorox wipes and our handheld vacuum cleaner. So I could clean the room myself while my husband and daughter went for a swim. Saturday breakfast was fine no complaints. Sunday was so bad. I'm not mad with the girl because it was not her fault they were under staff an no one was there to help her. It was a lot of people and she kept running out of everything food, juice, plates, and bowls literally I had to keep asking her for something because it was out again not her fault. This was experience while there. Now the fraudulent issue is because after we check out a few days later I was hit with a clean fee of $600.00. Now I know hotel have the right to do this I just never had to experience because I ALWAYS clean up afterwards. To give a little detail I did have a little party in the room I had 5 little girls with me. But before I left my husband wash all the dishes. My daughter somewhat made the bed lol. I vacuum the floor. I bought trash bags so all trash was bag an tied up. So before we left our room it was good. I never thought of taking pictures before I left the room because it was fine it always is. So when I find a cleaner fee charge I was beyond confused. So Roberta sent my husband a picture and I was really confused. Number 1 the photos were put together using a pic collage app on your cell phone. Not professional. Number 2 it had a knife puncture in the mattress. I would have called the police because from the picture it look like a fight or something. No police was called. Number 3 writing on the bathroom mirrors No one but my husband could have reach it an he was not there the second night. Number 4 the t.v had scratches the girls didn't even watch tv because they had there ipads an cell phones. There was always juice everywhere an the room look a hot mess. Now my concern is this Why wasn't we notify just for safty reason? Why wasn't professional picture taken so it could have a time stamp? Why wasn't no actual proof it was my room? Only the word of a manager. Something this serious I would need concrete evidence. These pictures/video could have been years ago I don't know. I don't know what is going on but I'm writing this review to warn others and I will be contacting corporate offices because this was not right at all. I really feel like some fraudulent business is going down at Homewood suites 6006 fairlakes rd. At the end of the day we did get our money back after my husband spoke with someone over Roberta head but this needs some investigation because it was more than just getting my money back. I am 100% sure we did nothing wrong I may not have pictures but the parents of the girls who was there came inside the room an seen us cleaning. So I have witnesses on how the room was when I left.

Yet again, another great experience with homewood suites. Staff is always professional and courteous. They really go the distance when it comes to their guests. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area.

Had a confirmation email about or booking for our room over the weekend.when we got there after a nice afternoon.for valentine's day.they said that we didnt have a room for us.even though we had a confirmation number.so we went to an affiliate hotel down the road just trying to get a room and they helped us out. I wouldnt reccomend any hotel that turns costumers away like that.the person at the desk even said she noticed there was a problem and was "thinking" of calling us to let us know at 930 PM that we didnt have a room.and they had rooms available and still didnt help us out.just terrible management

Staff is very helpful and patient, each room has cooking equipment if you don't want to eat out. Feels like a home away from home.

Brand new hotel. Friendly staff. Nice suites with an apartment style kitchen. Free breakfast and dinner Monday - Thursday.

Very nice place with free breakfast and social events 4 nights a week. No hotel restaurant/bar and very few options near by. Good place for an extended stay away from home.

Extremely clean and comfy rooms. The breakfast was awesome and we slept like logs. We will definitely stay here again if we are passing through. I loved the snack shop downstairs and the full kitchen in each room.

Quiet location within reasonable distance to shopping, dining, etc. Very clean, modern rooms and friendly staff. The pictures actually make the room look smaller than it is. It was quite spacious. We will be staying again when we travel to the area.

Didn't get the king room I booked. Food at the breakfast and social was just ok. Room was clean

This is a very new, clean and comfortable property. The breakfast is really tasty, all that is needed is when traveling.

The room we stayed in was amazing and so peaceful. There is a continental breakfast but I had wish there was a restaurant to choose from more options.

Staff at the front should be more attentive when you arrive other than that this suite was very clean. Breakfast options were very limited.

I was waked up at 2 when people next door was having a very loud sex. Their room had a connecting door to my room. Other aspects of this hotel were slightly above average for this price range. Staffs were very friendly and helpful.

Virtually brand new, stylish suites, exceptional free "happy hour" some days; pubrestaurant next door @ Garden Inn.

First time really staying and experiencing a Hilton Hotel. Have to say I love it. Love breakfast and dinner. Room is a good size. Gym is perfect for what I like to accomplish (run, abs, arms)

Just stayed last night for a getaway for my husband's birthday. We really enjoyed our time there the room was very clean and spacious. We will be looking forward to going back for another getaway.

Front desk from friendly and polite. Room was great size, quiet, clean, comfortable. Shades blocked out all sunlight. Breakfast was not good.

Favorite hotel I've stayed in in the last few months.super clean and comfy! I loved my room and my bed! Great happy hour choices and super awesome staff that go above!
