Homewood Suites by Hilton Long Island-Melville, Plainview NY

I’m guessing because of the pandemic they are slacking but my Room wasn’t properly cleaned everything was just not clean and they didnt seem to care

Homewood suites Melville is one of the nicest hotel properties in this area. It's convenient; right off the LIE and close to our family in Long Island.

Staff is friendly, breakfast options are average, rooms are good size with good quality furniture, and ample parking. Elevators needs to be updated even though we had a convenient one right outside our room. The downsides for me were that the soundproofing is horrible. I was woken up by kids jumping on the floor above on Saturday night. Weekends can be a busy place at this hotel.

In all, I think this is a good property to stop by with kids and family and I will definitely stay again.

Rooms and facilities were great as usual, but it's how you solve problems that separates the good ones. There was an issue with issuing the key cards, but there solution was simple and efficient. Instead of having people wait in lobby for problem to be solved, they simply had other employees follow each guest to room and let them in. Kudos.

This place is very nice, seems like if all the people staying here are your friends. After five days here, I am planning to come back soon. The food here is very delicious.

Not happy with the way I was made to feel by the lady at the front desk while checking in. Left a very negative impression of this hotel in my mind.

Great place to host a small business event. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely do another event at this hotel.

I have been in a lot of hotels in the US, but this was one of my best experiences ever!
Especially at the reception where you being served by a very friendly staff.
A special thanks should go to Shaun at the reception. He is always helpful and will do what ever it takes to forefill your whishes.
Apart from that the rooms are really nice and clean. Also the service at breakfast and dinner is the best!

Great front desk staff & Management! Chef Don is the best. Delicious evening social Monday through Thursday.

Wonderful place to stay for a large group of family. The pool could use some more seating and something to minimize the slipping, but for an 8 year old, it was perfect!

This Homewood Suites is much better than some others that I've stayed with. The room was modern and clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast wasn't bad. I particularly like that checkout is at noon which gave me plenty of time to sleep in on my last day, and the rooms must have instant water heaters because the shower took no time at all to heat up. I'd stay here again.

Do NOT stay at this hotel. I left my coat in the closet. I called a few hours after we checked out to have them get in from the room for me. I could not get housekeeping to call me back. When I finally spoke to the assistant manager, Angelo, he said there was nothing they could do for me. Truly horrible customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Besides the kids playing knock knock on my door at 1030pm and waking me up everything else was nice.
