Homewood Suites by Hilton New York/Midtown Manhattan Times Square-South, NY reviews
9I liked that the rooms were sound proofed! Breakfast wasn't anything special and there are Dunkin donuts near by. It is close to the subway stations making the rest of the city accessible. All in all, I would return.
The front desk members were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. COVID safety precautions were in place. Short walk from Penn Station.
The disappointment begins at the front desk with the people at the front desk not even interested in greeting you. There are several boutique hotels nearby and the money is better spent at those hotels.for Hilton this is yet another property where Hilton Honor members show up anyway.
It is in a great location! Omar at front desk was awesome! Room was small but was worth it for location. Stayed for a week and we loved it!
This hotel was a major disappointment. We booked our stay based off other reviews - all were done a while ago - and this did not come close to living up to even reasonable expectations. The hotel was unkempt and dirty. We had to go to the front desk and ask for anything we needed in the room - and we only needed basics (like more than one shampoo and two towels). If we tried to call no one showed up. Our shower did not drain. The bathroom in the lobby was dirty with an overflowing trash can. The outdoor space for eating breakfast was filled with litter -food scraps and plastic wear. It was gross. The rooftop terrace was dirty too - with old pizza on the ground and furniture was all over the place. I could go on, but there is zero chance of me ever staying here again. I feel like I got robbed by staying here; it was awful.
Great location and access to the MTA.
Room was well lit, comfortable and well maintained.
Breakfast was awesome.
Didn't like the pull out sofa or the mentally ill people hanging out on the sidewalk outside the hotel.
The room and beds were clean. They had great customer service. The breakfast was ok if you like premade fried eggs/ omelets. There is no parking at the hotel, you have to park your vehicle at a nearby by garage and you can not take your vehicle in and out otherwise the garage will charge your extra.
Good hotel in one of the busiest areas of Manhattan. The place just a 5 min walk from Penn station and shopping district of 34th street. The breakfast buffet is also nice and the staff is very courteous.
