Honey Nail Salon, Brooklyn NY

Maggie gave me a honey pedicure, manicure and lip wax. Clean, good atmosphere, not too crowded. Mani/pedi lasted. Going back today.

Good location & easy to make an appointment but the state of my hands & nails have never been worse. The acetone was kept on my nails so long that I had pruned fingertips for weeks! The gel quality also weakened my nails worse than other places. I won’t go into details about my pedicure but that was also disappointing. Maybe I got unlucky with the nail tech since I’ve had decent experiences at other locations. Either way, not coming back.

This was my first time at the salon as I've moved to the neighborhood. I get my nails done every two to three weeks, and for the first time, my nails are chipped and peeling a few days after having them done.

The manicurist cut my natural nails completely short (AND DIFFERENT LENGTHS) after I told her I didn't want them cut at all. She couldn't make a straight line for the french tips, and she tried to use a color that I literally didn't ask for. Essentially, she did whatever she wanted and I left without my usual style that I get at a different salon.

I was so pissed I didn't bother leaving a tip because her excuse was that my healthy nails are "soft. " I've never heard this nor had this issue before, and it's quite insulting for someone who takes their nail care seriously (biotin for the win). Accountability would have been more acceptable.

Definitely not returning. The facility was clean and cute, but that's the only positive I have to share.

My go-to spot. Generally can book same-day appointments though best to call instead of booking on-line. I don’t do the gel or nail art though it seems they have a lot of regulars who do. There is a fairly wide-range of nail polishes from which to choose. I like how they organize the space so there are separate areas for manicures, pedicures, and a drying area.

First time here. Very nice and ambient. The space is big, clean and very sanitized. Customer service is very good. Will come back here again.

Got a pedicure here for the first time earlier today and had such a great service. Definitely going to come back!

I haven’t been to a nail salon since I’ve moved to NYC (2 years ago) and it’s because I use to be a nail tech and was very particular about my nails. Honey Nails is very modern, clean, and the staff is friendly. I had Yoyo today for a basic pedi and gel mani and she was amazing. I love my nails! She paid attention to the details of my my nails and didn’t rush at all. Always made sure I liked the colors and shape before she continued the process. I will be booking with her again!

I got the gel powder manicure and it lasted well over 3 weeks without chipping or lifting. I’ve never had such a great manicure before!

My go-to nail place in the area! Extremely clean, great interior, and friendly service. Regular and gel both last me longer than at other places. Always a treat to get my nails done here!

I’ve gotten a gel mani twice and and each mani last 3+ weeks. They’re the highest quality mani/pedi in the area. You won’t regret it

I have gone here several times and enjoyed the experience but the last few times i’ve gone the service has been rushed and extremely cold.as i was leaving the manager and another person gestured literally mocked me to my face as i was paying for the service.overall i’ve liked the service in the past but im not sure i felt like a valued returning customer.i’m going to take my business elsewhere.

This place was great! Very clean, very accommodating. I came in on a Friday afternoon because I was traveling and broke a nail. I called ahead and they said they could take me. I got there 20 minutes later and they took me in and fixed my nail. When I arrived, the place was very nice inside and better than I expected. I didn’t look at any pictures beforehand but paid attention to the rating. I’m glad I came in because the saved the day and did a nice design per my request!

I'm a repeat customer. Hands down, my favorite place to get my nails done. You get what you pay for. Yes, they can pricey but for the attention to detail, clean facility, friendly service that remember you by name (heck Sally knows Me by my phone number and I don't do my nails as frequent as most) and clean supplies.sign me up. I've been to other locations, and I can sing the same tune to each location. They break down the price for everything, so nothing is a surprise. I've done gel and tips, and I've been happy each time. They give good suggestions if you aren't sure about what service you need for your nail strength; at times, giving suggestions that cost less. That's why I am a repeat customer, especially to this location. Sally and fam, you'll see me again soon

The experience at Honey was amazing! The space was clean and the service was excellent. The only reason I am giving it three stars is because, after about a week and a half, the gel manicure began to peel off my nails and caused cracks and breaks that took weeks to grow out: (I don’t think gel is supposed to peel, and I’ve never had that happen before. I wish that didn’t happen so I can give this awesome space and technicians five stars. The attached photo is of my nails after the gel peeled off.

I have been going to the same nail salon for 10 years. After some poor experiences there, I decided to find a new one. Honey nails was recommended to me and I loved my first experience! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, the space is beautiful and clean and Michelle did a great job with my UV gel fill in. She was detail oriented and efficient, will definitely be back to this salon from now on!

I am a picky person when it comes to service based work, this is because i think if one is willing to pay a “higher-than-average” price, the service should be upto par. Ive traveled multiple countries, and know that in the East for a price like this you get drinks, and really taken care of. However in america it seems like the extra you pay are for the pretty decorations and the cleanliness. Cleanliness is a decency. And it isnt all that nice. However Out of every branch, i believe this is the most attentive and professional and kind location. Sally makes you feel like a friend- which is what we all want. The quality of the work is amazing- i always have the best set of nails amongst all my friends (not to show off but just to highlight their great work) However! That is also when Sally IS there…
I do want to add that sometimes- the technicians lack customer etiquette, sometimes they are ignorant if you dont directly communicate what you want to Sally herself- she will make sure it gets done right- this is what i expect from salons. And appreciate greatly.
I wish they took better care of the communication between technician and customer. I wish they were a bit more attentive. That is all. Overall a great place- but still professionalism could be much much better for the requested pricing.

Didn’t get to experience the service because gel removal is $20.for only gel removal.nothing else.
