I was very surprised but l am back again and l will be back again it was something alot different but everything is high but they know how to take good care of you for l am very grateful to the stuff

Great Service! Very professional and amazing atmosphere, vibes are immaculate! I called an hour before arrival and my lovely stylist Ms. Kerrenah was able to squeeze me in for an Olaplex treatment and Sew-in. I have now had had my sew-in for 3 months and it looks like I just got it done. Definitely will be returning to NY for my sew-in. Honey Salon Inc has definitely gained a life long member.

They are pretty overpriced for Harlem… or in general. I ended up having to change my hair the next day. It didn’t last very long. I was looking for a new place in NYC so i tried them out.but since then have realized through other salons that they really are over priced for jobs you can get done much better somewhere else and for less.

I called in for an appointment around 3: 30 pm and was told that there was an available appointment at 5: 30 pm. I was running late and had arrived by 5: 40 pm. I was rudely greeted with "What are you here for? " and then proceeded to sit and wait to be serviced. I waited for over an hour while they took in what I believe to be "regulars". They gave me no sense of timing and did not let me know when I would be serviced, as a result I left. Do not waste your time here if you don't already go here. I was completely ignored and have gotten better service at a McDonalds. I would give the experience 0/10 stars if I could.

I hate it. Super overpriced I paid $203 for something I probably should’ve went to the Dominicans for much cheaper. But me wanting to try a black owned salon, I’m just so disappointed about the entire experience. My appointment was for 11/1130. I got there on time & waited too long for my liking. The stylist asked what I wanted and failed to assist bring my hair to life after everything was done instead of letting me walk outta unhappy as I clearly stated to her. Regardless if my hair was/is thin, a solution or an actual workable style couldn’t worked out as well. And let’s not mention the lady who approached me with the assumptions from our previous encounter where she asked me to turned down my phone & next thing I know Im scrolling online not listening to music or anything with sound, she says it to me as if I never listened to her the first time & pretty much accused me of having the loud sound in the salon but she was completely inaccurate. She didn’t even apologize like a real woman should’ve. Unfortunately, I will not be back and I don’t recommend sorry.

I came to this place early october as a walk in for a double process on my hair and single process for bundles.i was in the salon for over 4 hours and left then salon with wet hair.the stylist BARELY washed out the dye and gave me several sporadic twists throughout my hair and said "this is me being nice.i don't even have to twist your hair" when i asked if blow drying was included.by the time i got home the dye bled down my neck.and now, i have scabs all on my scalp.this was a horrible experience, i would give 0 stars if i could

Absolute worst place I've ever had my hair done. Hairstylist didn't know how to detangle and ripped a lot of my hair out. Blowout barely lasted and I somehow left the salon with my hair damp. When I tried to complain, I was ignored.

Update
I got a call from the owner and she broke down the charges for me. I was not overcharged but was instead charged twice which led me to believe it was an overcharge. This is true customer service. I am grateful for the time and effort this business put into making things right. A great business in the community that cares about customers!

I paid for my service, which was subpar. Then checked my card and saw they charged me an additional 130 bucks. Basic service and poor business practices.

I had to find a new salon, and after doing some research decided on Honey. It’s not very large, but not extremely small. I walked in and informed the receptionist I had an appointment, and was told to have a seat. I only waited a few minutes before being taken by my stylist, Lolita, she was kind and asked me
questions about my hair and goals since I was new to her.

I had a wash, deep condition, trim and silk press. I liked my results and will go back for a wash in a couple of weeks.

I’d recommend this salon to others, it’s a nice neighborhood, salon is clean and staff is friendly.

Amazing. Chole gave me and my hair exactly what we needed.a little boost! Sometimes, all it takes is an artist who understands your style to help you push through. Chole did that for me! She gave me a color that put life back into my hair.and the simple natural style I recieved as a result of her Amazing cut was fabulous! I'm tempted to go to see her every couple of days. Thank you, Chole.you are a dream come true.

Kerina is a god-send! She’s knowledgeable and talented and a sweetheart. The front-desk staff are always kind and accommodating.

Came here to get glue in hair extensions and had the pleasure of Chloe doing my hair. She did an amazing job and was very helpful with giving me hair advice and listening to what I wanted. They fit me in at last minutes notice and the atmosphere was comfortable. Definitely found a new hair salon ️ thank you!

Loved my hair at first but the next day it didn't look the same, I removed all my extensions, definitely wasted my money $350

Been twice and while I loved my hair both times everyone there needs to learn more about different hair types. Both times I went, I got a silk press and the stylist made multiple comments about my hair and how I need to take care of it better, and was so visibly irritated doing my hair because it was so tangled and difficult for her to work with (after washing). I detangled my hair BEFORE coming both times. So you can imagine how I felt leaving the salon: confused, feeling bad about myself and my hair.

When washing hair for a silk press I understand that they have to use a clarifying shampoo for the shine and silky effect. However, for course, thicker, and drier hair like mine, you will need to follow up with some sort of conditioner to bring back moisture. I didn’t learn this until I went back to my natural hair stylist back at home. I was only coming here for the school year. My stylist didn’t have any problem washing and blowing drying my hair because she knew the right products to use on me. Products that wouldn’t make my hair tangled and dry. When I learned this I immediately came to put this comment because they had me pay extra for a “detangle” fee when it wasn’t even my fault, and told me that my hair wasn’t in the right state for color when it in fact was lol. It was only tangled/dry because of the products THEY used.

On top of that, I called about 2-3 weeks in advanced making an appt for hair color. I sent them what color I wanted and everything just for the day to arrive and they tell me that they don’t have the color and needed to order it. I called that early in advance to avoid just that happening.i want to go back but don’t to keep paying extra if I don’t have to

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! I was looking up salons because I was transitioning from relax to natural (8 months going strong) Took a leap of faith and found this Gem! Lolita was amazing.do you hear me.she got the God's gift for hair! I had an appointment at 3pm and got out at 5pm silk press, tremendously and hydrating mask/conditioner. I am in heaven my hair came out so soft, scalp hydrated and the customer service outstanding! This is a salon full of Black Queens and Kings and deserve to be praised to the fullest! Thank you so much! Lolita I will be seeing you next month!

Honey salon always accommodates me whenever I'm either running late or need to reschedule. Highly recommend the silk press by Nicole or Jahaira they are the best. I've only had them do my hair and each time they are both super friendly and very informative.

I came here recently to get a BIG CHOP. I was soo scared as I've never gotten a haircut before but Octavio (who cut my hair) made me feel so relaxed and was so encouraging about everything. He was amazing!
The lady at the front desk was so kind and sweet (I regret not getting her name) I have to say I had a great big chop experience and I left feeling fabulous! I've gotten so many compliments

Ohhhhh my goodness, I found another stylist. Thank you Nicole, I am elated I ventured to Harlem. My hair looked marvelous when I walked out. Upon walking up to the salon I received smiles from the receptionist as well as another stylist. Yes a smile goes a long way because the friendliness sets the tone of an establishment. My hair was assess after the initial meet and greet. I has so happy she listened to my concerns and gave me suggestions of what WE can do as a team. Yes, Ladies there is a bit of a wait, I find a wait in every salon I visited, however, a wait is expected on a Saturday. 3 hours total in the salon because I have a weave and it takes time for all of the hair to thoroughly dry. Again, Nicole so glad I took a chance with your expertise. You are the. BTW, as far as pricing goes its fair. I wasn't sticker shocked.
