Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference reviews
15The program was well run. The grounds were well maintained and tranquil feel to it. The hotel room was clean. And the conference rooms and bathroom were all clean. The staff was all welcoming and the food was delicious!
Beautiful place in the Heart of the Mountain. Excellent and professional peoples in the Wellness Center. Great food! Definitely will be back in here again.
My daughter and I have had a great time! Im Highly recommending this peaceful Haven to Others.
The experience and peace I acquired was magical. I felt born again, left this place feeling happy and grounded. ️
I thoroughly enjoyed the program, and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again!
I enjoyed my company's retreat to this location. Food was great and the rooms were clean though the mattress was a bit hard. The hiking was relaxing as well as the jacuzzi and services.
Indian Rock Trail and Shawangunk Ridge are purls of Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference hotel. The hotel location is sponsoring walkers and trail lovers. The fresh and fragrant air is the unalienable gift of the hotel. The scenic view of the lake from the hotel windows is unforgettable. The breakfast buffet features gourmet food of a wide variety. The rooms are clean and cozy—dream of coming back.
Honor's Haven is a breathtaking hotel and conference center located approximately 2 hour away from NYC in upstate New York. The conference centered is situated on this picturesque piece of land where you can't help but to reflect and appreciate nature. There are ample opportunities for nature walks, complete gym facilities, a sauna, and a large pool. The cons - the rooms are outdated, the bed is super uncomfortable and with the exception of breakfast the food is terrible.
After more than two years of working remotely, our team was more than ready for some in-person team building. Honors Haven proved to be the perfect place to achieve our three goals: getting to know each other, building trust, and learning to breathe. I'm a hard one to please, but Honors Haven delivered and I would highly recommend this facility for any group looking to combine meetings with relaxation and well-being.
- The location is idyllic complete with endless nature, walking paths, meditation gardens, waterfalls
- The facility is established, but clean and well cared for. Each of the team were happy with their rooms. The Solarium meeting space was airy and filled with natural light. Our team enjoyed evenings in the Zephyr lounge talking, laughing and singing kareoke.
- The food in the dining room was wonderful! It was fresh, offered options for everyone's dietarty restrictions and preferences, and provided variety. We absolutely loved the freshly made kimchee when it was offered!
- The staff were accomodating, especially in the dining hall!
- The activities directors, Nick and Steve, were the abolute best, pushing us out of our comfort zones and creating opportunities for us to challenge ourselves and grow individually and as a team. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but they delivered above and beyond!
The staff were lovely and helpful, the food was even better than expected, and the weekend served all of my purposes for a quick and relaxing getaway!
Great staff! Walking tour was picturesque and our guide was wonderful! Wish we could have stayed longer.
Step into a time machine into 1985 and arrive at Honor’s Haven. Uncomfortable beds, terrible foods, and even worse internet quality. If you are seeking an upscale experience with high level of customer service, your search is not over. Taken out of a scary movie. Their best feature is their website that oversells the entire experience to make sure they will under deliver.
Staff was rude and unaccommodating. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. I highly recommend a different hotel.
Great facility (has everything - from great hiking trails to a bar) and the staff are very kind and helpful. Went there on a work retreat and we all had a blast.
What an extraordinary place—the grounds are gorgeous; the staff is genuinely attentive; the food is delicious and the atmosphere is literally soul restoring. I will be back!
Just a little worn but a wonderful campus in a great location. Great for small conferences.
