Hope Cafe, Syracuse NY

I went in hoping for a Cortado. “We can’t do those/there’s no way for me to ring you up. ” Ok that’s fine so I asked just do a 12oz (small) Latte and don’t fill it up all the way. “We only do Lattes as a large (16oz?) and I can just fill it half way. ”

I said no thanks and left. What a let down. I shouldn’t to be forced to pay for a large when I don’t want a large.

Cozy spot, quick service. Most reasonable coffee prices you will find downtown! I love their chicken empanadas, but really anything with the Peruvian sauces is great.

I tried both locations.the one in liverpool had nicer staff but i liked the location here better. Unfortunately I just didnt like the food.

Really good breakfast sandwich (sangwich?). Quick, friendly service, and the price is right. Give these people your business.

Microwaved breakfast sandwich and frozen bagels dethawed in the microwave and still cold/frozen in center. 2nd visit will be last unfortunately.

Unexpected dark vibes ended up feeling quite great for a lunch break. Delicious coffee, great service with chill music. Definitely returning.

What a great addition to the downtown Syracuse lunch time dining scene!
From the wonderful staff to the tasteful décor to the flavorful food, I cant find a single negative thing to say.
The spicy chicken sandwich was definitely spicy and exploding with deliciousness.
The drink options abound and my coffee was very good.
I will be back again to try the other menu items.
Highly recommended!

Good sandwiches, smooth coffee, interesting juice drink. Nice people working there. There is some mention of their profits going to a charitable organization that "helps people. " FYI the Liverpool location website clarifies that it is connected to a religious ministry. I wish this location was more transparent regarding that.

Tried Hope Cafe for the first time today. Had the Pacheco Salad.like the description says.it is VERY flavorful, HUGE and one of the best salads I've had! Can't wait to try everything on the menu!

I love Hope Cafe, excited one was opening near my work! First time to the Syracuse location was today. I was not impressed. I love the chicken empanadas, not near the filling as the liverpool locations. Ordered pick up and they forgot to put my salad in the bag and I had to walk back to get it. My empanada was cold when I came back. They did try to call me, however I wasn’t the one picking it up as I was with clients and I did not have my phone to answer. I’ll stick to the Liverpool locations.

Excellent food and coffee! Areppas and frappes are especially good. Fair prices and a great atmosphere to work on a laptop or catch you with a friend!

I heard about this place from my coworkers. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The employees are so kind and helpful. I ordered the carne empanada which came with a cilantro chipotle sauce. Both the empanada and the sauce were absolutely amazing. The empanada packs a punch of fresh authentic Peruvian cuisine. A wonderful light lunch that is good on the wallet and will have you back out the door in 5 minutes. I also got a garden salad which was fresh, crisp, and light. I have not had the coffee but I heard it is delicious. I am so excited to stop in before work to get a coffee. They are in a fantastic spot and I’m sure they will thrive due to the foot traffic and businesses in the area. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you! Good luck!

Super good food and coffee.cheaper than most other places nearby.they also have it nicely decorated.this is my new go to
