Hot Dog Beach reviews
13Such a low key place, white sand, beautiful vista and foliage, mostly locals. No concessions but there is a bathroom.
Love the place. Loved it more when less people used to come here and left less bottles behind.
One of my favorite beaches to bring my dog during cold months! Beautiful area to walk around and play~

Beach is public.parking NO.only for residents but either you bike or ask someone to drop you off. No facilities there but is great cause is never crowded. Enjoy!
Very surreal 40 years ago that was a happening spot Party City Neptunes Summers old beach clubs are gone for good very sad no race tracks this place is really starting to blow
How do you describe gently crashing waves, a sunlit ocean, pristine dunes, and the scent of sea? Heaven.
Haven't been all summer and it was nice to go back to one of the beaches from my youth. Found parking up front at 2pm, which almost never happens on Labor Day weekend.lovely day and the beach is very clean. Maybe a few too many people for my liking, but it is a Holiday weekend. I will be back soon.
Great place we stumbled upon that had smooth sand and gentle waves the day we went. I'd definitely go back again. Just be sure you are a resident or else you'll get a $100 fine like I did because I didn't see the signs.
It looks great from afar but I shouldn't have trusted the internet on the dog policy. I didn't see any dogs, and the sign said no dogs FYI.
They redid the access boardwalk. Easy access for anyone. No life guard though so be careful in rough surf. People still don't know about it so it's not crowded either.
Very disappointed! We drove there this July for hours to spend some time with our dogs at the beach. When we finally got there we saw a sign "No Dogs Allowed from April 1st to October 1st" When it says that it's dog friendly it should specify that it's only for 6 months out of the year. And most dog owners just like most people want to go to the beach during warm weather not from October to April. Very said that Long Island is not very dog friendly. It's been very hard to find a beach to spend some time with our dogs during summer.
Off season just for a walk along the beach. It was a nice place to stop and get out of the car.
Hot dog beach for over 45 years and boy has it changed over the years but an excellent place to go especially in the winter when nobody's at in the summer in rocks.
