Hot Topic, Staten Island NY

HOT TOPIC IS THE BOMB! I cannot say anything really about the staff but damn I love this store. You can find some goodies here. It's slightly overpriced which my kins complain about, but overall it's a good store!

This Hot Topic location is very organized and staff is very helpful and friendly. Worth traveling 2 hours to this location!

Great store to shop in but they're HUGE on nepotism when it comes to employment. They only seem to hire friends.

Went to do a return. Mgr seemed annoyed. Said our number not on file and we would have to get store credit. Then we showed email as she called someone to figure out how to find the order online. She said "they are returning alot of items" as if that has anything to do with it. After finding transaction and doing the return we said thank you and she turned her back. Poor people skills but I guess they dont require that at hot topic now? Store used to be much friendlier. There wa a girl with orange hair who was much nicer but fidnt handle returns. Store was clean and orderly but they could use a mgr who wants to deal with people

I had an amazing experience at Hot Topic last week. We went in to shop for t-shirts and we were greeted as soon as we walked it. It was the warmest welcome I have had in a retail store in a very long time. Upon being greeted, Athena notified me of all the sales going on. Literally, all of them! Informed me that if I downloaded the app today I could save 10% on top of all the sales. Needless to say, we left with much more than we planned on. Athena is am asset to this store and was simply a breathe of fresh air! Thank you Athena and the whole staff at the Staten Island Hot Topic.

I've been to this place a couple of times and never have I seen so much anime jewelry, cups, drinks and other things. I brought trolli peach rings candy with cash and the cashier told me if I want to sign up for an account for their website. I said no and I never really think that they have a website for the store. I might look into this if I go back to the mall. They have stuff there that might interest me. This store is somewhere located in the mall of Staten Island.

Review isn’t valid now but i felt like sharing LMAOOO had an associate come up to me in 2018 while i had a cup of auntie anne’s cinnamon pretzels in my hand & proceeded to ask me ‘are you gonna finish that? ’. No introduction into the store, no greeting, jus asked for my food right off the bat.da think abt that interraction to this day, hope something was done abt this particular employee

A worker by the name of julia asked me how i was doing, so i told her my house recently burned down.she held me while we cried and when i back to my car (where i was living at the time), i saw she made a gofund me page and donated $30000! Oh and she also bought me a new goldfish.

Julia emily and mickey r the best workers @ the store they helped me financially and they saved my puppy from dying

The review is not necessarily based on this store, or even the company persay.but the fact that I now feel to old to shop here. Thanks Hot Topic. I'm now even more uncool.

Great hot topic with a good amount of clothing and accessories there.they got anime merch but the clothes there look kinda um uh u know……… def a little pricey, they sell like $3 for a tiny pin.workers r so kind and welcoming tho and yea this is probably the most boring review i’ve written because school is killing me and i’m about to fall asleep typing this out

Don't go here if you are in a hurry; too much to see. Great place to browse around in, and you are leaving with something you did not know you were looking for, for sure! Happy place!

I loved this place because I swore to defense the Constitution and didn't brief anyone prior to going there so how is it known that I went?

Good place, but now it's all filled with these "alt" posers. Gets these xx tentacles shirts out of here and lets get some Killswitch Engage back.

Excellent customer service and friendly EVERY time I go. I always overspend just because they make u want to empty your pockets.

The store is always neat and organized. A great selectio if tee shirts and novelty items. The customer service reps are always pleasant and super helpful.
