Howard Rose, MD reviews
13 I had a tele-health appointment with Dr. Rose and he asked me to walk so that he could see my leg. He explained my condition and said if I wanted to improve my quality of life, it’s better to have a knee replacement. He explained the prognosis and he let me decide what I should do.
He answered all my questions. He was very patient and his explanations were very helpful. The nurse and the office staff were also great.
Dr Rose is the Ultimate Orthopedic Surgeon I had total knee replacement and was extremely satisfied with the entire staff and especially with Dr. Rose who is always there to talk to you if you need him I would highly recommend Dr. Rose Kathy Z
Dr. Rose is simply the best. He repaired a torn meniscus in my knee in 2019, and I have never had a problem with it since. Twice now I have seen him again for unrelated knee pain, which he has quickly diagnosed (tendinitis) and helped me resolve. Can’t say enough great things about him!
Dr Rose is great, he listens and takes into consideration my concerns. I have had two surgeries with him and soon scheduling my third!
So far so good! Continuing care with Dr. Rose for a knee injury. Reviewing MRI tomorrow.
On my initial visit, he was very nice and helped me understand what he thinks the issue could be and offered options for care.
My husband saw Dr. Rose today as a new patient at the Manhasset office. Dr. Rose is attentive, an excellent communicator, respectful, compassionate, listens to the patient, is ethical and offers options for treatment when surgery is not indicated. Most importantly, Dr. Rose has the judgement to know when surgery would not be in the best interest of the patient; a quality that distinguishes Dr. Rose from many other surgeons.
I booked the appointment on line after leaving a message on the answering machine the night before and got a confirmation for the appointment. When we showed up. I was told by the office staff this is a request for an appointment which I found to be misleading. As it turned out, the appointment was not in their system which necessitated some negotiation. I was a little surprised that the nurse (Ellen) does not have an office or a more private place othet than the waiting room to question patients about their complaints and reason they came to see the doctor. I would suggest that she be given an office to facilitate confidential nurse patient communication.
Dr. Rose is clear when explaining the surgery you may need. He cares about his patients and will give you the best advice even if he is not performing the surgery. Dr. Rose did a surgery for me in the early 2000's and almost 15 years later it is still good. I trust and recommend him highly.
Staff were polite efficient supportive,
Dr Rose was kind, honest, caring and wonderful!
Dr. Rose as always is extremely professional and detail oriented, making sure that that his patients understand the situations and are comfortable.
I know Dr. Rose from 2016, when I needed total hip replacement. After my surgery, I thought, I was born again.
Unfortunately, I have some problems with my spine but I thought that it my hip. After evaluating me, he recommended me to the spine doctor, even helped me to find a doctor who I can trust as I trust Dr. ROSE.
His personality is amazing.
So many appreciated patients he has and after almost six years after my surgery, he still remember my husband even his name.
His staff - very polite, helpful and professional people.
Dear Dr. Rose, thank you very much for everything you do!
God bless you!
Dr. Rose is the best, he performed my left ACL surgery about 20 years ago and I was skiing six months later without a brace. Just tore my right ACL and anticipate the same results. His office staff and surgical coordinator are efficient, professional, and most of all, empathetic.
Love Dr. Rose. His office is kind, efficient, and the experience seamless. Dr. Rose is a wonderful doctor. He is thorough and informative, has a great bedside manner and listens. I have complete confidence in him.
I have now seen Dr Rose multiple times and have referred friends and family members. Everyone loves him for his quality of care, kindness (him and his staff) and his knowledge/expertise in the field.
