Dr. Kahn and Flo were absolutely amazing with my dog Oreo. They were very thorough and gentle when working with him. Would definitely recommend this animal hospital.

I’m a picky dog parent and wouldn’t trust anyone but the best with my rescue pup. I always feel like my dog is in excellent hands when she visits Hudson Animal Hospital.

The service from the staff and doctors is excellent and Dr. Angiello and Dr. Yoshida are caring and considerate.

Updating 8/24/2023 - Dita has been through many visits over the last few years from regular check ups to dental to a few worrisome visits but I’ve always felt like she was important and my questions were important. This office takes the time to make everyone feel valued and having been to a few other places (while they were fine) Hudson Animal Hospital shines. They aren’t the cheapest for sure but I’ll take great care I trust over cost any day.

Highly recommend! They take great care and time to ensure all your pets needs are covered and they offer truly phenomenal service. I’ve been to 2 other vets in NYC in the past few years and they’ve been the best by far.

Very pleasant experience, Dr B and all the staff were so friendly and patient with my dog Jima. He’s timid and reactive, I’m so glad they took the time to meet him and give him tons of treats, making his whole visit a positive one. So glad we made the switch from another clinic!

I am SO thankful I found Hudson Animal Hospital for my pup's care after we moved to New York City last year. To offer a little background (before I jump into this review) : I'm very specific about the qualifications of the veterinarians that my English Bulldog sees for his care (given his breed, he is a medically complicated dude and it's a requirement that his providers know how to best care for him). When I first came to New York, I was doing some research about bulldog-specific veterinarians in NYC and I couldn't find any specific vets via the AKC or from the bully resource websites I usually reference for recommendations. I found a review on Yelp that Dr. Kahn had done great work with someone's English Bully and the rest of the story is history.

Located on the Upper West Side off of W 61st, Hudson Animal Hospital is in the cutest little neighborhood and the location of this practice is super accessible, regardless of how you get here (we typically do an Uber Pet and it's super easy). The practice is clean, well-kept & cared for, and there is lots of room in the waiting area. Even on days when the office might be a little busy, Augie always has lots of room to lay around or say hi to people without us being in the way of others.

Let's talk about the staff: INCREDIBLE. The front desk is always quick to get us checked-in when we arrive, they return calls quickly after I leave messages, and they are always so patient when I have to make appointments or adjust our appointment times. Visit invoices are always emailed to me right away after each visit so I can file claims with Augie's insurance in a timely manner. I can tell that the insurance company never has to wait long for his medical records after each visit either, because our claims are always processed so fast (I'm positive that this in part due to the staff here).

& of course, I have to mention our veterinarians: Dr. Angiello and Dr. Kahn, THANK YOU. I am so grateful for the care you both provide for Augie. I'm sure Dr. Yoshida and the other veterinarians are amazing as well. Thus far, we have gotten the most wonderful attention + care. Dr. Angiello and Dr. Kahn are so thorough and knowledgable. I cannot recommend this practice enough! They are the best. If you live on the West Side of Manhattan, look no further for excellent care for your pet!

We love Hudson Animal Hospital! After trying out some popular “name brand” veterinary practices near our apartment, we felt as though we were not receiving good quality care. After visiting this clinic, we are so glad we made the switch! The vet techs are very polite and great with my pup, they even remembered that she gets nervous at the vet and will play with her/cuddle her to ease the anxiety. We see Dr. Kahn who is very skilled and knowledgeable in her practice. She is real with us, assuring, and treats our pup with great care. The front desk staff are amazing too as they always are very responsive either over email or phone. This hospital treats every pet with individualistic care as a top priority. I know this because I have witnessed them open early during their lunch break to give emergency care to a dog in need. I can’t recommend this facility enough and feel so at peace knowing my pup is receiving great care!

My recent experience at Hudson Animal Hospital left me deeply disappointed. I brought my dog to the hospital seeking proper care and diagnosis, but unfortunately, the service and treatment fell far below my expectations.

The hospital charged me for unnecessary studies and medication.

To make matters worse, despite my repeated requests, the hospital failed to send me the test results.it is essential to have access to all relevant information regarding my pet's health, and their failure to provide it is simply unacceptable.

Moreover, the misdiagnosis of my dog's condition was alarming. It was evident to me and even to the doctor present during the consultation that my dog was exhibiting symptoms consistent with kennel-related issues, such as persistent coughing. However, instead of addressing the obvious issue, the hospital prescribed medication for a completely unrelated problem, which did nothing to alleviate my dog's distress.

They charged us almost $1,000 for x-rays, blood tests and prescribed medicines for something our dog didn’t have. They also didn’t send us the x-rays and blood tests even though they promised they would. It turns out our dog had kennel cough, which should have been obvious to the veterinarian. Kennel cough is a common disease but can be mortal if not treated timely. We’re never coming back.

I just moved to NYC and I feel very lucky to be living close to Hudson Animal hospital. Dr. Yoshida and the staff are friendly, warm and caring. I felt at home right away. I am thankful.

Hudson Animal Hospital took tremendous care of my aging yorkie for years. He lived 17 years - and 4 years longer than he otherwise would have had it not been for Hudson. Dr's Yoshida and Angiello are compassionate, detailed, and experienced. The staff has always been welcoming, responsive, and compassionate. The whole practice is a gem of a veterinary office - even for the Upper West Side - and I'd never go anywhere else.

The vets and staff here are really great. I feel like my cat is very well taken care of, and their prices are fair (for Manhattan). They're very responsive, clean, friendly, intelligent, experienced. 10/10! Very glad to bring my girl here. She has bad gingivitis (born w/ it) and has had her teeth cleaned here successfully. My cat also had to have luxating patella surgery (congenital) and is recovering very nicely. Obviously wish I had no health issues for my cat, but Hudson vet helps take care of anything that pops up. I feel she is in very good hands.
