Dr. Cortes is hands down the best doctor I have ever visited. I came to see Dr. Cortes for a sports injury that he ended up performing surgery on. Unlike most doctors, he takes his time to explain all the details of a planned procedure and ensures that you understand every single step involved. He ensures that you are comfortable and that all your questions are answered before the appointment is over. It is VERY noticeable that he genuinely cares about your well-being. You will certainly feel that your health is his top priority! I will return to Dr. Cortes for any future hand/wrist problems and can warmly recommend him to anyone who is looking for the best orthopedic surgeon in NYC. Hudson Spine is very lucky to have him!

Dr. Kuo is hands down the best pain management Dr.on either coast! I know, as I have been avoiding spinal fusion for over 3 years and suffering with multiple lower lumbar issues my entire life.

Unlike every other Dr. I have worked with, he has been able to pinpoint the precise areas that cause my pain and as a result give me relief like no other. In fact, I moved to LA a year and a half ago and tried 3 pain management Drs. - all to no effect. I even flew from LA to NY exclusively to get injections from him.

In addition, the office is modern, spotless and efficient and the staff are thorough and caring.

If I could give them more than 5 stars I would - and transport them to LA!

I enjoy coming here for PT. The staff is friendly and helpful. Diana, my Therapist is great, she finds the exercises that are right for me, she's caring and always wants to make sure I'm comfortable.

Dr Kuo gave me epidurals without my consent or the warning required by Federal Law.and punctured my spine, causing the most excruciating pain ive ever felt in my life.then he lied to my insurance company, in writing.this was dangerous and illegal, I'm pursuing litigation and strongly advise against going here.it's like a chop shop, they drag you into unnecessary procedures so they can make their money — and don't actually improve your condition, i went there for 2-3 years.one of Dr Kuo's assistants advised me, in private, to contact an attorney, like he had seen a lot of this.its extremely wrong to exploit people's pain.

Hudson Spine is the best decision I made to take care of my ailing foot. For months I’ve had pain in my left sole. With only 1 visit, the pain is being corrected and finally I feel better! I reecomend them 100%

I originally recommended and reviewed Hudson Spine & Pain highly, but after my latest and LAST experience there, I had to modify to reflect how disappointed I truly was.

I was seeing Dr. Rances about pain and discomfort in my leg and was happy with his professionalism and the treatment he had offered up until the point where he referred me to a specialist who had absolutely nothing to do with my issue at hand.

After reviewing some x-rays, Rances identified the issue as most likely specific to my hip, rather than my nerve or spine, which is what he had been treating me for. So who does he refer me to? Naturally, someone who specializes in shoulder pain of course. Even the specialist I saw (Dr. Wert) was confused, but still decided to see me, without even reviewing my file in advance.

One would think a specialist in this position/specific area of treatment would ask why this was before actually seeing said patient, but no.instead, my time was wasted, my money was wasted, and I was misdiagnosed.

That said, I went to NYU Langone where I was properly diagnosed and am being treated for my HIP issue.

The only positive for me about HS&PM is the office staff: they’re courteous, timely, and professional. Sophia mans the front desk and is one of the most organized and friendly people I’ve met. She’s on point, thorough, and does everything with a smile.
