Hudson Park & Beach reviews
16Quiet, clean, lots of seating. Nice park to just relax. Concerts in the summer. Beach is an overstatement but as much beach as you can expect in NY. You have to pay during the day but free in the evenings.
Loved this little hidden treasure island. Quite and peaceful. Will go again. They just need a quick food stop without having to pay for parking again.
The playground is dirty and outdated. There should be laws against smoking Marijuana in areas of young lungs. There is too much smell of Marijuana throughout the park.
Great shallow beach for kids to go in the water, playground has the usual stuff. Only issue is there's trash everywhere, pretty disappointing.
As a life resident of New Rochelle, it used to be one of my favorite places to clear my head and watch the harbor. Now a days people come and blast music in the evening and ruin that atmosphere. Still a very nice park during the day but evenings it might as well be Jerome Ave in the Bronx.
It was a fun experience. The food trucks were excellent and the free concert was an awesome experience
Nice neighborhood park overlooking the water. Summer concerts in the bands hell are great!
Beautiful spot to sit by the water, which I love. Walk your dog, and bring your kids to the park. Nice area.
Such a beautiful green space to visit and enjoy the day. Sitting by the water, listening to the waves, feeling the breeze makes the perfect place to get lost in a good book.
Is a beautiful park to have a picnic play ball seat and enjoy the environment is green and have the ocean what else you can ask!
New Rochelle heritage. Very clean and lovely park to bring your kids and family. There is a little Gazebo by the kids playground that is often occupied by large groups in the offseason. In the summer I believe you need a permit. The beach is also nice but small and gets very crowded in the summer. The park is fairly dog friendly but there is no dog run. The restrooms are only open in the summer I believe.
Hudson Park is located off of Shore Road and not far from I-95 exit 16. It offers Beaches, Park Setting and a couple of Piers for sitting. It has Parking but during the season you should arrive early or take public transportation. There are a couple of Restaurants within walking distance. They do offer concerts and other outdoor activities during the Summer months.
Made a trip back and did a turn back th clock. It's still a great place to visit but a lot of the of the 60s items are gone no more roof viewing, no raft, no outside showers.
Still a great Lil Jewel on the sound
Excellent and under used park in new Rochelle. Love coming down here in the morning and just staring at the sound for a while.
Beautiful breezy day and plenty of space to walk and enjoy the day. Clear and endless views of the water.
Very nice and clean beach with open space to walk around the beach. Plenty of parking space too.
I miss the food court inside the bay area, and the ocean water color is black instead clear water. I won't pay anything to see such a abandonment sad place.
