Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, Newburgh NY

Always loved this credit union and I feel people deserve recognition when they are good at their job, and very attentive with guests, one of the tellers by the name shane did exactly that. Most experiences I have with tellers arent that nice so thankyou for your kindness I was having a rough day you made it better.

A few Months ago (May I think) my Wife and I applied for a used car loan. We dealt with 3 wonderful people who were extremely helpful and friendly. They all were great and answered our questions and all 3 had really good ideas that helped us choose our vehicle. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the first woman whom we dealt with at the branch. She was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with as well as Lora Wilson Financial Services Representative and Troy Mahon LPL Registered Sales Associate. Thank you to you all. You made our purchase a lot easier.

Great staff. Very friendly! But the lines are ridiculous. EVERY Wednesday when I come to cash my check there is a line almost out the door. And every Wednesday there are at most two tellers working the counter. Please hire more people so the lines are not crazy and I’m not waiting 20 minutes to get out the door.

Terrible! First they lower ATM max and then they block me from being able to contact them after they agreed that I had received terrible service from their Newburgh, NY branch! Their ATM machine botched a deposit and the girl at the door was too lazy to care. I dont have time to sit on the phone with these people online/facebook/text/chat is more convenient and they block A MEMBER from contacting them. They honestly think they are too big to care about the member's that keep them employed! Boy are YOU going to learn the hard way! Mid hudson Credit union here i come!

Worst experience with a bank! Froze my atm card on a Saturday with well over$1k in the account and stood in the doorway refusing to do anything until Monday. Will be closing my account on Monday!

I have used this credit union for almost 60 years and never had a problem. Great service and friendly helpful employees.

Notary and supervisors are liars and hostile beware. Wasted my time and money on a very simple manner. Incompetent

Everytime I come here Its alway at least 1/2 wait. The cater to all non english speaking members.

I went here because I was approved for a personal loan. After waiting more than half an hour the clerk "debra" ver y hostile btw says i need more paperwork. If I was approved its bc I had brought in My paperwork

Very professional and courteous, I've used them for almost everything that you can use a bank for and they always perform. Friendly, respectful and genuinely thorough with a family feel. This is the way a bank should be, I will hopefully never have to do business with a big bank again. Recommended.
