Hummus Mediterranean Holbrook

The pitas are chewy and don't seem authentic. The gyro was okay. The hummus was not good at all.

New: 3 stars. Suddenly there’s been a staffing change and the new staff is not as bright, friendly or quick. There’s no communication between them so often you get to the cashier and they have no idea what you’ve ordered, or if the plate on the counter is yours or not which causes a wait. The food quality has also gone down. Lettuce and spinach is often soaking wet and slightly wilted. The red cabbage recipe must have been changed for the worse as well. It used to be pickled but now tastes like it’s been sitting in a puddle of maple syrup. I genuinely thought it was rotten and when I asked one of the servers if the recipe has been changed or if perhaps the batch that day was bad they just shrugged. I’ve tried it two more times since with the same results. Hence the updated review. Still a good place to grab quick, healthier and less expensive food.

Original: 5 stars. Hummus deserves every ounce of business they receive. The food is always fresh and delicious. Never greasy and always cooked properly. The people working behind the counter are always smiling and courteous and will answer any questions about the menu with great detail and enthusiasm. The interior and exterior dining areas are neat and clean. The prices are extremely fair and the portions are huge. 100% fully recommend if you’re in the area.

The portions are large, I usually get a salad bowl with a protein. It come with the addition of a pita and side of hummus. It’s large enough to share with my hubby. Makes a great lunch or light dinner.

The overnight oats are also amazing, so many unique flavors to choose from. It’s very hearty so one jar will feed me three times.

HummusFit has been my go to for meals for past three months so far. They provide high quality meals that are healthy and extremely satisfying. I am able to grab my lunches for the week with ease while getting a hot meal for the road. The people are wounderful and the food is truly mouth watering.

For me, I didn't like what I ordered. Took two bites and threw the rest away finding it bland.
I grew up eating Middle Eastern food in Dearborn MI.
Food was fresh but did not suit me.

Food was not what I expected. Everything is all ready and sitting there waiting to be served. Nothing is made fresh. Not as tasty as I thought it would be. Had better food from a food truck.

Took the wheat bowl with falafel and toppings - they were the best.
They were so generous, efficient, worth for money.
It has complimentary hummus options.
Hummus toppings are complimentary and comes as sun dried ones etc.

Great little grab and go spot where you can get some good Mediterranean food they give you plenty of protein, since it was summer, we were able to sit outside, kind of in a weird spot where to roads split, but has a nice little patio. They also have a large selection of premade ready to eat meals in fridges.

Delicious food. Make your own healthy meal or eat one of the delicious variety pre-made meals.

Awesome fast-health food with a focus on delicious whole ingredients and Mediterranean flavors served in a rice bowl, pita, or salad. Can't go wrong here, no matter what you like. They also have health conscious pre-made meals if you want to shop for the week or later in your day, those are rather good too and they have a big variety. Other things they sell are overnight oats, desserts both "healthy" and not, merchandise, and some sugar free/low sugar drink brands.
ONLY ISSUE is their chicken is usually dryer than the Sahara desert in their premade meals, please fix this.

UPDATE 05/16/2023: The chicken the premade meals has been way better lately.

Lots to pick from! You can build whatever you want. Prices are reasonable. It is similar to Chipotle for Mediterranean food. Try the roasted lamb! It was incredible.

Great lunch, very tasty. Had rice bowl with chicken and some toppings. Really liked the hummus that came with the meal. All for around $12.

Falafel was cold and not heated up when served. Tasted dry. His portions were generous and food appeared fresh. Staff were helpful the food just did not well me at all.

Great food, great portions, decent price. The parking lot and general appearance of the place looks pretty bad though. Needs a cleaning desperately.
