I had my baby 3 weeks ago, and everyone from the nurses, doctors, even the cleaning stuff were so amazing! I can’t thank enough the nurses at the Center for Mothers and Babies and the Maternity unit for all the help and support they gave me! They were great! The whole hospital during our stay were just perfect! I had a C section and the experience at the hospital were a 100/100!

Terrible experience. I spent a total of 13 hours sitting in the ED waiting for a bed with little to no attention. I am 22 and have a severe anxiety disorder and the fact that I couldn’t have my mom there to help advocate for me felt indescribable. The only reason they got me a bed was because I starting having a panic attack (gave me my anxiety medication 2 hours late). Stayed overnight for observation and told me it was food poisoning and strep. A week after discharge still not feeling better so I went to my primary care doctor and turns out it’s mono. The hospital gave me antibiotics which obviously made me much worse. The only positive experience was the nurses who were understanding of my mental state.

I can't say enough about the staff here! One year ago I was admitted with acute pancreatitis and very close to death. I was in the ICU for months. The Drs were excellent and saved my life. The nursing staff were wonderful! They took care of me during and after being in a coma. They gave me constant attention and emotional support to get me thru this very difficult time These nurses are Gods angels on earth and I will never forget the care and genuine concern they had for me. They helped me when I was unable to speak and had fear in my eyes. The compassion was above and beyond the call of duty. Every Dr. I see as a follow up says that Its a miracle that I'm alive. I just can't thank them enough. My only regret is that it took me so long to write this review!

I brought my son in to the ER to have an ultrasound done on his leg. I am an RN, and My experience has been that all of his symptoms were leading in the direction of a blood clot. He also had multiple surgeries done on that leg five years ago for a cancerous tumor. It took us 5.5 hours to get the US and then there was an issue with radiology and they could not give the doctors the results of the test. When I questioned what was going on, I was told to go sit down. We finally left without the results with instructions for them to call us when they did result. We had parked our car valet as there were no handicapped spots available when we arrived. When we finally left, we were told our car was parked down the block. So at 1: 30 in the morning in the freezing cold, me with copd and my son in pain and having difficulty walking had to go roaming around outside to find our car. When we I called administration the next day to inform them of the poor service we received, I was told they were doing the best they could and then she said, I’m hanging up now, and she hung up. Sorry excuse for healthcare providers.

If you want to spend 4+ hours in the waiting area, go here. My 5 year old daughter had a 104 fever. For 4 hours this poor girl was waiting. They didn't even offer to give motrin or Tylenol. I had to leave the hospital and get it myself. Avoid this hospital at all costs.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.i have to give 1 star even though i really feel it deserves zero.my son 4 year old son came in with a 103/104° temp and i sat for HOURS with no follow up unless i initiated it.doctor forgot to send in his medicine to help his fever.he was thankfully asleep for all of this but he was extremely out of it and when he woke up he had trouble remembering.when you see your son showing any signs of memory loss your initial reaction is to get upset.the nurses were not helpful and we're extremely rude.the bed side manners were horrendous.when i asked the nurse what they thought was wrong they responded to me and told me if they knew they would tell me but they don't so they can't.ontop of that i onlt saw the doctor for 3 minutes and she administered his discharge without talking to me.while being told about my discharge the nurse told me it's pointless to keep him anymore and his vitals were fine.that's great and i was happy to hear.he then asks me son what his name was (because that was what he was forgetting) and my son responded i don't know.the nurse turned to me and said well atleast his vitals are fine that's the only thing really but he's okay.i couldn't even look at them, i couldn't even fight because i know they weren't going to do anything anyway.plus i did not want my son in that hospital any longer since it just seems they wanted to just get him out because was taking up another chair.i will never be attending this hospital again.

Waited for 4 hours in the ER waiting room, lady at the desk was rude, nurse audibly complained, overall bad service from people who are supposed to be professionals

From the moment id walked in for surgery, throughout surgery, recovery, post surgery and my general stay after a Major surgery, I can honestly say THIS IS THE BEST HOSPITAL I've ever been to and I've been to a lot The staff is nothing less than incredible, sympathetic, genuine and go above and beyond to get you comfortable and recovering. Even the food.it's restaurant quality. It's like a 5*hotel for medical needs. I'm actually writing this from my hospital bed at 710 am after already being taken care of by my nurse and nurse aid, waiting for avocado toast and the freshest berries I've ever had. I Strongly suggest if it's at all possible, to have any procedures needed done at Huntington hospital. 5* care@northwell Huntington. Bravo! And thank you to the Entire staff on floor 3 especially!

Hit or miss. ER is usually very good. A stay there is 9 out of 10 horrible. Nurses and Hospitalists must be overworked cause they are pretty uncaring. I have had 5 operations, in 6 years. Stay away from 3 north.
Best seems to be 5 south. I was seriously ill, and although I had a life threatening illness they told me they don't call my doctors you know like in the old days when your specialist would come to see you while they are in the hospital. They were all notified though and my follow-ups were good. BTW, even if you ask for medical records from any Northwell-they don't include the Secret Dr.notes. There are some disparaging comments going on. I know of 2 doctors that have written condescending notes that were really out there. And who says the d-word to a patient 4 times while examining them below the waist?
The day I got home there was a 25,000.00 bill waiting for me! They didn't bill my insurance?
Then a bill for 45.00. Then a bill for 1500. I had to call them obviously 3x and the last has a wrong code? So that still needs to be worked out as the county was hacked a few months back and I have yet to get a return call, but I digress.
In the hospital they had me sign a document that I immediately rescinded in less than 24 hrs. Something about permission to go after my insurance company for payment if they don't pay enough? And they had a witness that I was told is "just training. " Hello, they have contracts with the insurance companies and know full well that rate is an agreed upon fee.
Huntington went from C to A and back down to a C-. ER care good the rest, I will go to Saint Francis or further in the future. If there is still anywhere Northwell is not affiliated.
Can you say MONOPOLY?

What a disaster! The complete incompetence, disorganization and downright rudeness was astounding. No one came to the room when help was requested multiple times, most assistants lacked basic medical knowledge (they literally had no idea what we were talking about when we told them we needed -due to being 2 weeks post OP from hip surgery- a raised commode to use the bathroom). You asked one nurse for help, no one came, you explained to another that no one came despite last request and were met with “well, it wasn’t me you told 40 min ago”. It was quite busy but anytime I walked past the nurses station, there were at least 6 people standing around talking about non work related issues which was also pretty unprofessional.

I had to bring in my 7 year old due to 1st and 2nd degree burn on his hand and we went to the emergency room. We ended up with 2 nurses that were absolutely clueless on how to handle this.we did not get the medical attention that we needed. We left and went home, kept ice on his hand until we could get a hold of the family doctor.

I could not even post this review unless i gave them a star.they dont deserve it!

Awful experience … I am here since 7p and only vitals were taken; very disappointed with process as no sense of urgency and lobby full of people waiting to be seen. A man came in coughing excessively and he was not isolated from patients.

The medical service at the Huntington Hospital Emergency room was substandard on the night of Aug. 29.2022. There was sympathy but no real medicine practiced during the 4 hrs we were there. A doctor spoke to us for a minute after 2hrs. My wife was not provided any relief and we left the E R in the same state that she arrived in. I no longer have any faith in the Huntington Hospital emergency room.

I was amazing that everyone was nice. They really see me fast and all the test was done fast. The doctor and staff was wonderful.
