4 A great and peaceful place to fish
Also the fisherman are friendly.
But we all need to be mindful that we leave the Pier clean for others
to enjoy.
The patrons DON’T take care of the place. Fishing area is very filthy. Don’t blame the parks dept.the guys fishing needs to do a better job.
Great fishing pier get there early be nice and try to fish with one rod not a big pier sharing is caring get there on the BX6 mta bus
This park has some amazing views of the East River, including the Whitestone Bridge in the distance. The restroom here was locked when I visited but a drinking fountain was available. It's a peaceful, beautiful park but the challenge is how to get here, which for me involved walking two miles from the Hunts Point Avenue station after getting off the 6 train. Was it worth it? For an urban hiker like me, absolutely.
