Huyck Christopher MD, Troy NY

Dr.bryan is one of the worst doctors I ever had and they need to get rid of him he terminated me just because I was in pain and he didn't know how to handle it so now I have to start over in looking for a rheumatoid arthritis doctor and I am in so much pain.

Went to dr Huyck 8 years ago and he fought with me regarding my fibromyalgia and Lupus. Told me it was in my head and I was healthy. Since then I have been to 2 other Rheumatologist who disagree. I finally had a diagnoses and could move forward. I hope he has improved since then but I am not taking that chance!

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Huyck for many years and has never had a bad word to say about him. He prescribed a new medication for her this week and it has had an adverse affect. I called his office 4 times today to discuss this with them and requested a call back but have not received a response and now their office is closed. The courtesy of a returned call from the nurses line was expected. So disappointed.

This office is horrible! My husband has been a patient for the last 2 years. They have tried numerous meds. Some helped more than others but he never really had any relief. They always booked him with the nurse practitioner Dorothy, very rarely did he actually see Dr. Huyck. The notes that were done by Dorothy states he is fine and feeling well which is truly a lie. Because they want to believe they are successfully treating patients they make it look positive on paper. My husband is in the process of a disability trial. We could not believe the false documentation that was given. Now Dorothy has quit. My husband actually saw Dr. Huyuck last week and explained his concerns about the office reports. Dr. Huyck stated he has heard the same complaints from other patients. My husband called the office today and asked if Dr. Huyck could call him back. Be needed to discuss the notes and had questions related to his care for the disability claim. The receptionist called back a day later and said that's not how the Dr.does it. You have to schedule an appt to speak with him! Mind you he was there a week ago! She then said she can't get him in for 2 weeks. So I got on the phone and said if my husband can't be seen today or tomorrow then he needs to call us. Needless to say we never received a call! It's unbelievable that you can't receive a call from the Drs office that has been treating you for years. It's very sad! Goes to show you how much they really care. Very sad. My husband has been been going to an RA Dr. In Boston for the last 2 months. This Dr.has called personally 2x already. That just goes to show the difference in ethics and care.

Dr. Hyuck's office and Dorothy Lacombe are excellent. It is refreshing to go to an office and have them truly listen to you! They do this and more. I recommend them not only for there expertise in rheumatology, but for their knowledge of all the body systems. I can't say enough good things about them.

The office staff are amazing. Dr Huyck and Dorothy are supportive, knowledgeable and understanding. Highly recommend

Doctor Huyck and staff are amazing! I stopped going because of inappropriate behavior and touching of the PA Dr. Ron Monson during a procedure. I was devastated! I still am. He may have got his license out of a cracker jax box? ! He needs to be removed from practice! No disrespect to everyone else in the office they are wounderful!

Love, love, love everyone at this office. Nothing but the best treatment and very down to earth, funny and easy to talk with people. The wait is usually a bit long but well worth it.

This doctor really listens to his patients. Office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone is easy to talk to. Good health education in the waiting room.

I love this office and the people in it! Its such positive environment and they are all very caring people! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my care!

I have only been to one appointment with Dr. Huyck and he seemed thorough but his X-ray tech, Ken Berg, is an very angry Xenophobe and Islamophobe. I have already filed a complaint for discrimination to the NY Health Department. He already has complaints in his personnel file but Dr. Huyck seems reluctant to do anything about it, other than to give Ken another talk. Not my kind of place.looking for another Rheumatologist.

Not bad as a doctor, but he over books clients redicuslily.
Today. 2.5hr wait 7 min visit with dr. I would suggest they discontinue overbooking or more and more people will see these ratings and hes guna be outta

Most thorough Dr I have EVER seen.yes, bring a snack and something to do, you'll be there a while, but I used to get shuffled in and out of my old place in 15 minutes.

Dr Huyck is a very thorough doctor. When I got there I was there for a couple hours which I understand but I I would rather have a Doctor Who takes his time.
