Iavarone Brothers, Woodbury NY

Great market. Always fresh and spotless. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Dom, Theo, Joe the fish monger and the butchers are great.

Apparently this is now a $16 (half normal size) sandwich from Iavarone…. Mozz sliced as thin as the meat, which itself was put on in like 2 layers like freaking Subway… Been ordering this exact thing for maybe 20 years and as recently as 2-3 weeks ago and now it’s $3 more and half the size. Really really disappointing for a place I’ve know for so long and know what to expect from which is not this. Feels like they were trying to pull one over on me. Total lowlife move from one of the guys who should know better, not some recent hire, and I’m kinda debating whether they’ve lost a customer for good after a sleazy move like this.

Not as big as the NHP location with less product and variety.couldn't find some stuff I normally get, but still great authentic Italian food. Good bakery too! Highly recommend

Great variety of Italian products. Good meat, seafood, in store pizza, bakery.fruits, vegetables, breads, pasta. Deli counter with excellent meats and a variety of sides. Friendly, quick service. My favorite is the premade salads which are great for lunch or to share, they have several types which you grab and go. Our family used them to cater food for my father's funeral several year's ago. Everything was delicious. $$$

I just went shopping there, everything seemed very clean, except for the woman who handles the fruit, she was very inappropriate, all with her hair tied up and she with her hair down and her mask down apart from being very rude

We called them when we were outside and they brought our food right out to the car, fully contactless.

I visited Ivarone in Woodbury this morning to pick up my catering order and was once again confused and hurt due to customer service from Pepe. I've been a customer for 20+ years, starting when they were located in the smaller shopping center near my home. Back then, Pepe was welcoming whenever my husband or I visited. Then, several years ago, the store moved to Woodbury and suddenly Pepe started pretending like he didn't even know me, and even went out of his way to avoid me when I tried to flash a friendly smile. What's up with that? What changed when they moved to a higher-priced neighborhood? This noticeable avoidance of me makes me very uncomfortable and sad because I really do like Ivarone and the wonderful Italian products they offer. I do all my catering from there, but always cringe when I need to actually walk into the store knowing that I will be getting the cold shoulder from Pepe. I would definitely shop there more frequently if not for this situation. I am an Italian American and was so thrilled to have a store like Ivarone so close to me. Sadly, the owner is friendly to a select few and I am not one of his chosen customers.: (  Guess I'll have to go to Uncle Guiseppes from now on.

I love coming to Iavarone Brothers and this location is probably my favorite. Their selection of cured meats are some of the best I’ve ever had and they also have an unbelievable selection of Italian dishes. The eggplant rollatini is amazing.

Whenever we cater from Iavarone Brothers it is always a hit. Expensive, but definitely a crowd pleaser. However, I can just come here to pick up a pound of Genoa, cheese & peppers for the week just as easily.

In the past year I had to plan two catering events and used Iavarone Brothers for both with exceptional results. The food was both delicious and plentiful. I appreciated the advice I received with planning the menus and felt everything was handled professionally. Orders were delivered on time and without incident. I opted to use their serving staff which really kept both events stress-free for me and I highly recommend that option as the women clearly were experienced and capable of handling every element of the event related to the food.
It's really impressive that every item on the buffet from the antipasto to the risotto to the chicken parmesan to the pasta, the salad and rolls, the pastries and cookies, coffee service - all of it was so fresh and of high quality. I highly recommend IB for all catering needs!

Made this for lunch today. Mortadella and Provolone. Their cold cuts and bread are yum yum for sure! They also have some amazing GF Pastas. Stuffed shells and lasagna noodles.

This place is really great that food is outstanding that specialties are fantastic well worth visiting I'm sure you will buy quite a bit while you're there

My family has been a fan of ivarone since I was a kid. My dad used to go to the store in Maspeth and middle village. We shop once a week in Woodbury or Wantagh. Still the best pork store in all of Long Island
