Ideal Food Basket, Queens NY

Overall this place is ideal for grocery. They have a huge selection of items, multiple options and some organic products available in this location. Finally I hope can get what ever u want. Only one things stopping me to giving them 5 is their store hours should be till 12am in my opinion.

Always check your receipt cause you'll be paying for things in this store you didn't buy am tired of them

I don’t know who need to hear this but this grocery store is price GOUGING a dozen eggs here are now $8.99! SMDH I AM REPORTING this ASAP. And I hope the neighborhood stand with me boycotting them! & don’t leave your generic reply that you’ve been leaving under everyones’ review with you thank you for bringing this to our attention I’m going to bring it to your attention all right. I understand prices are up all over but this is absolutely ridiculous the other day I paid nine dollars for the Hawaiian dinner rolls ridiculous. $9.00 for 12 eggs! And the $15.99 for strawberries. I really feel bad for the families that don’t drive and are forced to use this store. I’ve stopped around to others stores and this one is the one that has the most outlandish prices. You must be the only store getting the bird flu eggs because the other stores prices are no where near your prices. You are welcome for my honest review.

I’m honestly done giving this grocery store a chance. They always sell fruit and vegetables that’s going bad. My last trip, I bought watermelon, honeydew, and breadfruit. The honeydew was smushy, the watermelon taste like they cut it up on a meat board and the breadfruit was brown and spoiled after roasting it. On top of that, they have the nerve to overcharge on almost everything

It's a clean store that's well organized. Everyone is polite and helpful. It's a "local" supermarket so not as big as some of larger national chain stores. So slightly smaller varieties but they do cater to the needs of the local customers. Prices are fair especially if you shop the sales but in my experience not quite as good as some national chain stores. Overall I'm happy when I shop here and think you will be too.

I been coming to this story almost 5 years and I have apply for a job and never get call I have over, 5 years exp.but it seem there are racial people they like there own kind and they have to be young that is not right. I live only two blocks away that ever some one does not come I am right there.that is crazy.

Store had gotten better over the years but the food they sell here is not always fresh make sure you always check the food expiration date.

Today I was so disappointed with the manager. I’m in this store mostly everyday if not me then someone in my house, mon-Fri no problem with the staff but the weekend is the worst! (Children) smh
My bag broke and I didn’t bring out and cash I asked the manager can I bring the $1.08 back and get a bag he said no so the cashier took it out her tips. She should’ve, it should’ve been a common courtesy from the manager! I spend so much money on that store it makes me want to stop shopping their!

Check your receipts some of the items that are stated on sale but when they charge you it’s a different price. You’re basically robbing people blind

The supermarket products always fresh. The items on stock are nice and neatly on shelves. The store is always kept clean.

The deals and prices could be better. However this store is always neat and clean and pretty well stocked. So to save yourself the displeasure of buying your food in a place that is less desirable, I recommend coming here and probably watching the circulars for better deals.

Ideal Food Basket is one of my Local Supermarkets for Shopping Groceries. Parking is available but limited. My experience has been good, so far. Well stocked up to cover your shopping needs with reasonable prices.
Location is off the Van Wyck Express on Foch Blvd.
Note: It was a CTown Supermarket for many years before becoming Ideal Food Basket Supermarket.

Love that they have my favorite coconut waters when everyone else is out also the salad and food bar
