Breakfast Restaurant IHOP reviews
21My experience in oceanside was very excellent I always eat in New Jersey but this IHOP the services was very good IAN DEFENELLY GOING BACK
Fast and friendly service, atmosphere is cozy and small, if you're into that. Food was good, my 9 year old love the French toast, and he's a picky eater, nothing left on his plate!
This is the 2nd time we've been to this IHOP location. We had very good service both times. If we had one complaint, it would be that, although "kids eat free from 4 pm-9 pm" was clearly posted at the entryway, the price for our child's entree was still included on the bill and we had to ask our server to take it off. Other than that, would recommend this location.
Sharon is the greatest server at this place, her attention and neatly works are outstanding. I must say that my family and I came here for the Father's day celebration; thanks to this lady my family and I had a pleasant and wonderful day. This lady deserves a rise or something to congratulate such a caring employee, she went beyond her responsibilities. Simply awsome.
Omg, this location is amazing food literally is flying out the kitchen window. I've been coming here since 92 and some of the staff is still there! It's a must go
This IHOP location always ends up being a decent choice for a meal. The staff all seem to be relatively young, but they actually give a damn about customer service. Polite, attentive and they keep the place clean. Can't ask for more than that out of a chain restaurant.
When I crave pancakes I go to IHOP. My favorite is harvest nut and grain. I always eat 2 and take 2 home. They also have great crepes
Chicken fajita was absolutely delicious however, the service was not the best. Our waitress was not attentive to our table.
Other than that it was good.
There was no wait time.
If you have a hankering for breakfast food during breakfast time or lunch time or even around dinner you know that IHOP is the place to go. But which one, if you just happen to be in Nassau County, Long Island? My suggestion is the Oceanside location, store number 4628.
The cooks are spot on, everything tastes fresh and well prepared, the place is clean, and the customer service is incredible. All of servers work very hard but our experience was made that much better by Erick (and his luxuriant beard peeking out from his clean and regulated mask) who had the right balance of checking up on us and leaving us to enjoy our meal. We never felt rushed or like we were a burden on the servers and establishment, like we've felt at other IHOP locations west of the Oceanside store, who because I'm classy, I won't name (it rhymes with "bally's team") here. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Daniel, the Manager, who came out and received our laudatory remarks about Erick, as a professional leader should. He was also very personable and you could tell he does a good job with his staff and the customers.
So, if you're on Long Island with the taste for IHOP and a good dining experience, go out of your way to get to the one in Oceanside.
Expensive (almost $20 for breakfast) and luke warm food. I has been awhile since I've been to an IHOP and it will be awhile before I go back
Walnut pancakes are super -delicious wanted more and more the employees are super friendly service is a Grade A in my department excellent place to get Breakfast.
Very bad service, the manager David, was very unprofessional and very disrespectful, should not be an employee there, very horrible experience and will not be returning,
Seems like a really nice friendly place to eat, but I didn't feel happy about the service on the day I went for the first time. It took waiters 5 or more minutes to just get condiments such as ketchup, syrup, fork & knife. Waiting for it made our food cold. Served 1 (one) sausage with combo meal 2 small pcs of bacon. I had chicken & waffles. Had a small piece of a hard chicken skin that was completely inedible. (It was like a little rock) I bet they counted that in as a full meal. I felt like that piece should of been discarded before it made it to the table.embarrassing. They gave me & my guest small syrup cups instead of a full syrup bottle with dispenser. Horrible. To that end, I am thankful the Manager was sympathetic and gave us a whole new meal without having to pay.we decided to take it to go.ugh!
Each year this IHOP donate pancake batter for us to help raise money to help veterans in local hospitals. This is the kind of place you should go to patronize
Extremely busy restaurant but we were seated within 15 minutes. While the food was good my coffee got cold waiting for milk/cream. The floor was a bit messy from the previous guests but a cleaner did eventually come around. I have to say breakfast for 4 at IHOP for $60 seems a little steep.
Food comes out fast the way we like it cooked and served.hot.and tasty.no complaints about here I like going early mornings and having lunch for breakfast.
Lots of food - 2 meals worth! Good pancakes. The eggs and hash browns weren't very flavorful but that's neither here nor there.
This location wasn't that good. The spicy food was spicier than other locations and they did not have the syrups at the tables.
I had the rib tips, hash browns with green peppers and onions and pancakes, with strawberry Syrup and whip cream AMAZING sorry forgot pictures
Foods getting lousy service was slow even though I left a nice tip I had asked for a extra slice of lemon they told me I had to wait till its cut up by the time I was done with my food I was still waiting for my lemon
