II Corallo Trattoria reviews
13 I made a reservation for 2 people. But when I arrived I was told that I can have a table only when a second person arrives.
This is ridiculous and absolutely discrimination.
I was going to order a lot of food and o was told to just stand by for whatever. I wasn’t even sure when my friend was coming. But I was ready to order a lot of food. And even then I was told to wait outside on hot weather and sweat. Thank you. I am not coming here anymore. Bye bye
I used to be your regular! But your new rules are going against your business!
Bye bye!
Very flexible we booked a reservation and couldn’t find parking so we just called to let them know we were late (they accommodated us just fine)
Food was EXCELLENT, a dish none of us will forget. Very authentic food, sauce was remarkable!
The service was ON point! Food arrived fast, drinks were served quickly too!
We ordered the Pizza Rustica, Tortellini Parmigiano, and Fusilli Boscaiola from their lunch specials!
The Pizza Rustica was a burst of flavors - the fresh mozzarella and tomato sauce complemented perfectly by the zucchini, eggplant, and mushrooms. The option to choose between a soup or a small green salad was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall dining experience.
The Tortellini Parmigiano was heavenly. The tender tortellini filled with flavorful cheese, combined with a delectable Parmigiano sauce, left us craving for more. It was a true Italian comfort dish, and we savored every bite.
Fusilli Boscaiola. The spiral pasta cooked to perfection, accompanied by the delightful combination of mushrooms and peas in a creamy tomato sauce, created an explosion of taste in every mouthful.
The service was impeccable, and the staff made us feel warmly welcomed throughout our meal. The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a relaxing dining experience.
Excellent service and food, the price is according to the location of the place. The atmosphere could improve a little on the outside terrace, the food was excellent but they deducted a star for not having a Cannoli for dessert.
"Italian" pizzeria/restaurant in Soho. Dishes that are similar in name and taste to our own (the previous owners were Italian, the current ones are not). We appreciated that there was bread and oil on the table (in NY it is absolutely not used). I would say good pizza. Fairly affordable prices kept the city average. Very courteous and attentive service. After dinner, the neighborhood is worth a stroll.
I ordered " It was tasty.
I went on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered the recommended food "Taglierini Sorrento". It was so delicious. The pre-starter bread with balsamic vinegar+olive oil was also good.
Very good italian food, family atmosphere, very relaxing. The taste is amazing. Recommended: 4 cheese pizza, cuttlefish noodles.
I loved the food here! My friends and I didn't have a reservation but were able to walk in without a wait. I got the Taglierini Sorrento, which is squid ink pasta with lots of seafood (shrimp, scallops, clams, and crab meat). It was delicious! It was light and didn't feel greasy, and packed with flavor. I would recommend this place!
I went to Il Corallo with a group of friends for a Saturday night dinner. The atmosphere was great and the servers were very attentive but I thought the food was just okay. The pasta noodles were cooked well, yet were nothing special, and the sauce was done alright. None of us left with glowing reviews of the experience and we only thought it was okay. Also they do not serve any liquor so we were not able to get cocktails with our meal which was too bad.
I went to Soho because it was recommended a lot, but it's one of the most delicious dishes I've had since I came to New York.
The service of the clerk taking orders is excellent.
I ordered two seafood based pastas and both were delicious. Seafood is also plentiful.
Especially for me, the squid ink pasta was seasoned just right and was the most delicious. The teeth are really good. I keep remembering how chewy it is.
If you go here, the squid ink pasta is unconditionally recommended.
The food is spectacular, we have visited several times. The taste of the food very consistent on all occasions. I think that what stands out the most is the seafood pasta and the pizza. The house tiramisu dessert is delicious. They have always treated us very well every time we go, although it can improve in terms of handling customers.
I recommend from the seafood pasta category the Fettucine Pescatore and the Taglierini Sorrento. If you're more into pizza, the Pizza D'Oro is made with lobster and scallops and it really is wow, I really liked the Napoletana and the 4 Formaggi (made with smoked mozzarella, Gorgonzola and goat cheese).
Well, try it for yourself.
I hope they continue to be as consistent as ever in their restaurant. Thanks for the service, best wishes to the Il Corallo Trattoria family!
It was sooo delicious! We made a reservation and everything went very smoothly. We got the pizza burrata and rigatoni padani - 10/10
Food: There are few places in NYC where you will get perfectly sized portions of fresh, seafood pasta and pizza than here. For $25, you can get their pizza d’oro - absolutely LOADED with many different types of seafood. Or, you can get their fettuccine pescatore for $28 - equally as good. You also get complimentary bread, but it’s just alright. However, for the price point, this is easily the best pasta joint in Manhattan (and maybe even all of NYC) for me.
Service: The dudes who work here are great. They give me like neighborhood uncle vibes. Super jolly, happy, and for the most part, attentive. Host upfront is great too! Not much to be said. Only gripe is that every time I come here, even with a reservation, I wait like 5-10 minutes. Small thing though.
Atmosphere: The restaurants indoor dining area is pretty small and very cramped. Small tables that get quickly full with pastas and pizzas. Outdoor dining is great here, but wouldn’t recommend in the summer. Cute decoration and fancy lighting! Just a tad bit too small for my frame, and I’m not even that tall.
Toodaloo!
