Imagine Swimming, New York NY

My son LOVED his swimming class with Michael (and 3 peers). My child requires a lot of attention and is hyperactive when he is excited (which was every day at swim lesson). Michael managed him fabulously and taught him to swim and to love the water. He is in water now at every chance he gets! Thank you, Michael!

We love Imagine Swimming lessons! The staff and instructors are amazing. The facilities are clean, warm and inviting and my 1.5 year old is learning to swim.

Imagine Swimming is the BEST. I actually cried watching my nine-year-old have so much joy in the pool with a swimming teacher. He always has fun playing in the pool with family, but lessons have been such a struggle and frustration for him. We were ready to give up after trying to explain to teacher after teacher at program after program how to support our autistic+ADHD kiddo in lessons. Then we found Imagine, and it was just such a breath of fresh air. Our son is SO excited to have "finally found a good swim school, " (as he said). This is the one!

After rescheduling and then missing our session because I went to the incorrect location, I was exhausted and annoyed! When my daughter and I made our way to the correct location her session had ended and the floodgates opened. I was overwhelmed with the emotions of the afternoon. Right away Javier changed into his swim gear and conducted the trial lesson with my daughter himself! To say I was grateful is an understatement. His selflessness is just the dose of humanity that is needed today. Thank you Javier Roa.

Overall this place is great for lessons for kids. My daughter takes synchronized swimming here and she enjoys it. The one thing that I can say that can improve is the reception desk. As regulars coming 1-2x a week they can make it easier for us to keep our information line vaccine status so we don’t have to show it each and every time we come in. Also if the bathrooms and locker rooms can be cleaned regularly.

Cute little swimming pool for young toddlers living in the Manhattan area of NYC. All are required to wear mask and they take your temperature upon entry each time.

Great swimming instruction and atmosphere for children.

My baby girl super like this class! Our teaching is very creative with lessons.the program is aimed at teaching the child to swim.my daughter is very energetic and sometimes doesn’t listen, but our coach Samantha turned out to be a tough nut to crack ️️ unfortunately we are moving and we will have to say goodbye

Our 3 girls have been swimming every weekend at Imagine since they were each 5 months old. It is their favorite activity each week. We can't say enough great things about the staff, especially Jane - if you want to see an amazing baby or toddler swim lesson, you have to request Jane. She is simply the best and works wonders with those kids!

We've been with Imagine Swimming since my son was a baby. Instructor is great! He has all the patience to due with my very active son.
