Indian Restaurant INDAY reviews
14 Update February 2023: The last couple months, this location has gone down. Generally, I get the chicken tikka masala. Prior, you got whole thighs. Now,
You get little chunks. The owner claims they shifted to chicken breast but the menu description hasn’t changed. A few weeks ago, I got the “new” version and you could tell there were mixed batches of chicken. Some were green/brown. Against my better judgement, I ate it. Within an hour and through the commute home to when I went to sleep, I was thoroughly sick. I responded the survey. No response. So I wrote to Inday. They explained the new version refunded my meal and added credits. Now, my brain won’t let me order the chicken tikka masala because I fear getting sick again. So, I ordered the tamarind glazed salmon. The flavors don’t mesh. It’s bland. The proportions are off so you end up with a ton of basmati. I ended up throwing it out. I let inday know and received no response. I didn’t mind the price increases but the food and service was decent. Last year, when I started going, it was awesome! Now, I don’t know if I’ll ever go back.

One of my fav work place lunch locations. Food is always fresh and nicely packaged. The taste is great. Well seasoned. Good portions. And for this part of Manhattan, very reasonably priced. Today, ordered online and it was ready when promised. Highly recommend!
Great food, healthy and flavorful, most options are gluten free and proteins are optional if one is Vegan. Will recommend for anyone craving Indian cuisine.
I had the chicken tikka masala. Don’t think any one will revisit this place if you know the authentic taste of Indian food.
This is the worst Indian food I EVER HAD. It has no flavor. Roasted vegetables? I got steamed cold vegetables. Tamarind beets? More like boiled beets. If you are looking for Indian flavors or Indian food this is not the place. I as excited to try this place, bit just wasted $15.00 on flavorless food.
I went to the Bryant park location. Soooo good and a really good amount of food! I got the complete macro bowl w lentil falafel, will def get again. I also really love that they donate a portion of sales.
The food here warmed my soul and my happy gut. Thank you. It was an unexpected pleasure for my senses.
I accidentally ordered my to go order to the wrong location. They were kind enough to make my order super quickly and without me even asking. It was a kind gesture and not everyone would do that, but it was very much appreciated:)
I don’t generally like Indian food but this place changes my mindset! I tried salmon, coconut curry with brussels sprouts, cauli-quinoa and greens. What stands out is there is mint and basil in the greens as well. The herbs sort of enhance all of the flavors, which can be a needed kick. Would def go back!
Walkin service is prompt, Quick pick up of orders filled, friendly staff service, Food is excellent on the taste buds.my personal favorite Tamarind glazed Salmon with Basamatti rice.
Tried the Chicken Tikka Masala recommended by Jonny. Absolutely incredible! Def gonna have to try some of the seasonal options next week.
The food was incredible! A lot of vegan options and we tried every single sauce and they’re all delicious.would highly recommend!
The food was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was extremely clean and that’s a must in order for me to dine there. I didn’t give a 5 star because the man at the register who seemed to be either the owner or manager wasn’t very friendly. Also everyone was working hard (as the food preparation area is visible) while he sat on his phone. It would be nice If they added a little more meat to the meals as well. Nearly $13 and you don’t even get what would be considered a chicken breast. Overall I will place a mobile order in future to avoid interactions with the manager.
An easy 5! Great modern Indian-inspired food, not too spicy. The curries are on point, and very tender juicy chicken.
