Food is absolutely delectable. Which explains why this restaurant has managed to exist for so many years. Best Indian food in Buffalo, in my opinion! My favorite dishes are the lamb shahi korma and chicken tandoori

Me and my family had this tonight for dinner and it was great! We had butter chicken, curry chicken, garlic naan bread, spinach and vegetables, and samosas and it was all awesome definitely will be going again

I have been coming here for authentic indian food since 2003, the 1st time i had chicken biryani i think i cried it was so delicious.i have brought other friends of mine to india gate and they are totally delighted by the delicious food.the buffet is the best way to get an idea of how wonderful their dishes are.but i always add chicken biryani to all my selections.

The India Gate Restaurant was an accidental find for us on our way back from Niagara and it met our demanding expectations on all fronts. We had Dal Makhani and Malai Kofta which was very delicious. The decor was elegant and the service was prompt and courteous.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, we had dine in today, and our experience was horrible. Not sure how come the rating is 4.3. Server was very arrogant and rude. Food quality was also not good. We ordered kofta curry and they served kadhi pakoda instead of kofta curry, and when we politely enquired, the server very rudely lied saying I had informed you earlier, which he had not. We were so shocked to hear this. There were couple of more instances where he was so rude. We wanted to complain but there was no other manager in restaurant. I have never experienced this type of behavior in past 15 years from any other resto.
Please be aware guys.do not visit this restaurant.

We ate in and the food was fabulous! Restaurant was clean, good service, did I say everything was delicious? Go today, you'll love it!

India Gate is one of my favorite restaurants in Buffalo. Definitely the best Indian food I have had and I love getting take out or dining in!

Didn't like it at all. We ordered north indian Food- paneer, dal, roti, rice etc. Nothing was tasty everything was on sweet side. Felt like Its more catered towards non Indian customers who may not be familiar with authentic tastes of Indian cuisine. There was only 1 staff person doing everything. Nothing great about this place.

This was my first time having Indian food and it was one of the best experience I’ve had eating at A restaurant.

All I think is primarily a lunch buffet place. Wanted to try the place for dinner and was a little surprised by the lack of service. I ended up walking out after 1/2 hour and after asking when my food would come. No clear answer was given only a few minutes. They only brought me a water and not my other drink. I also noted the customer across from me left a lot of food on their plate and left. Not a good sign that they were enjoying their meal. Was very interesting I ended up at Chik FIL A.

India Gate is an excellent restaurant, and I strongly recommend eating here. Literally the best food I ate in Buffalo.

The service was quick, the prices low, the staff friendly, and the food was INCREDIBLE.

While visiting Buffalo for two weeks, it was the only place we ate that was so good we made a point of eating there multiple times before our trip ended.

They have a sizable menu spread, plenty of variety in options, a generous vegetarian section, and again, Every Single Thing We Ate Was Delicious. They had some kind of freshly made spicy green chutney/masala that we gushed so hard over, the chef sent us home with a small container of it.

If I visit Buffalo in the future, it will be the first place I revisit.

The chicken makhani was incredible! The sauce is the best and India Gate is the only one in the Buffalo/ Niagara area that puts cashews and golden raisins in their sauce. It is the best! I also love their rice pudding.

Took about an hour for my online order to be ready but the order was correct and cooked really well. Will come here again for a sit down lunch in the future.

Totally wasted the money.food is extremely horrible.and top on that wring describes. I ask for the garlic Naan, as most of you gyes know what is the difference between roti n Naan.they given me roti top on some garlic.when I asked.server says this is the garlic naan.don't want to accept that is plain roti top with garlic, and the next thing I asked for the malai kofta, which should be white gravey.

One of the worst customer service experiences I can remember. I walked in and no one was at the desk so I went to the restroom. A worker burst in while using the bathroom and told me I must order food and I explained I could not because no one was at the desk. The worker said I don’t believe you so I told him fine I’ll just leave and never got food. Rude Rude Rude!

Shower friendly staff helped those in the party not familiar with Indian food. Heat level was low which is exactly what we wanted

This is some of the best food I have ever eaten. The chicken vindaloo is awesome. Take the spicy versions and dishes seriously. If you get appetizers try the green chutney that comes on the side.

The waitress was stupid. Food was horrible. Will never come back again to this stupid place
