India House reviews
7Came in, was immediately seated and served. We had the fried potatoes and samosas the sauce was very flavorful- warm and delicious. I ordered the Yellow Daal and the keema with a side of rice. Our waiter was very attentive. Would definitely go again when I’m back in town.
This is third class restaurant, management and food third class, non professional person
Restaurant is non class restaurant. Manajment is lower class. Usage is not good. Price is high

Stopped by on a whim, to order Samosas. In the process, I had some trouble using my card (the bank put a hold on it until I verified two previous purchases as my own). When I asked to pay again with the same card, the server behind the cash wrap asked me “how will you pay using the same card? ”
I thought it an odd question…but bothered to explain to him that I had security alerts on my card. I also bothered to explain how that sometimes works. When I motioned that I was ready to pay again, he still bothered to ask me the same question, after I’d answered. Annoyed by now I asked him if he was familiar with how bank accounts worked, especially in this country.
As he fumbled with another question on my ability to pay, I decided to leave the samosas I came for, and remove myself from that place and the hostility I was being met with.
In today’s world, setting up protection for one’s personal banking, isn’t far fetched. It’s actually quite common. Another common occurrence; that sometimes having those same protections and alerts meant to notify you of any suspicious activity, can oddly be turned on you when your black. The fact that I was questioned THREE times, after explaining the first two times, and an actual bank card being present…. I just wonder if I’d been of a different ethnicity, would they have been necessary. I’ll never know as I won’t ever be going back, to anyplace where I feel my integrity, financial ability, or money is questioned.
It’s cool. I’ll continue shop black-owned. More then likely exclusively so, and DEF won’t be back here again nor giving referrals.
