Clothing Store Indochino reviews
20Great service from beginning to end. I got a made to measure suit that fits me just right for a decent price. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff guided me through every step, which mattered to me since this was my first custom suit and I don't have great fashion sense. They gave me advice when I asked and left me alone when I didn't.
Super easy made an appointment earlier in the day. In and out in 20 minutes for a suit for my best friends wedding! Fantastic folks and service. Can’t wait for the suit.
Awesome Service! Very patient and knowledgeable of everything related to the tuxedo for my wedding! Even saved some money! Appreciate everything and will definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a tux or suit!
I am a woman with a flat chest and wide hips. Raymond was great to work with and had a lot of ideas to make sure everything fit the way it's supposed to! Indochino is now making women's suits, but I wanted a masculine cut.
I initially ordered my suit online, but the suit did not fit very well for a number of reasons.
Usmaan did a fantastic job, remeasuring me for a replacement and ensuring the next suit was properly fitted. Highly recommend!
I went to this Indochino location in mid July with the very simplest of needs: a plain white dress shirt to wear to a wedding I had this summer.
After nearly a month the shirt arrived and was wildly ill-fitting. I asked for a refund as it was clear the replacement would not arrive before the upcoming wedding date, but after contacting both Indochino customer service and the store location itself, Indochino refused to refund or even credit me.
I was seriously frustrated already but reluctantly agreed to return to the store for a re-measurement. The manager, Usmaan, personally took my measurements this time. Alarmingly, as he took them he mentioned that not just one but several of the original measurements that Indochino's tailor took were pretty far off the mark.
The replacement shirt arrived a couple weeks later and this one *still* does not fit. It is too small, just as the first one was, and therefore not salvageable with further tailoring. I called the store to again ask for a refund, but the answer was a hard 'no'. After persistently explaining to the store manager (again, Usmaan) that I was fairly asking for my money back since Indochino failed to provide the very simplest of tailoring services.and since the wedding date was now in the rear view - he offered me store credit. I politely explained that I do not want to buy anything from Indochino any longer given the experience I had.
When Usmaan refused to refund my credit card, I reported my experience to the Better Business Bureau and also to my credit card company. Those investigations are ongoing and I'm confident will result in my fair ask of getting my money back being honored. But in the meantime, since Indochino continues to battle my BBB complaint, I wanted to share my experience here in the hopes that others will avoid this company, its poor tailoring services, and most importantly its unfair and unreasonable policies.
Great service and attention to detail. Store representatives couldn't have been nicer.
When I first got to the Indochino location I was impressed by the professionalism and courtesy that they gave me. I would recommend the services to anyone.
This is the second time I am at this Indochino. Jane was amazing and got me set up with ease and efficiency. Very easy to talk to and I am very pleased with the overall service. Would highly recommend and will be coming back should I have future needs.
Great experience — fast, and the suits fit perfectly. Jamie McArdle was our point-of-contact, took our measurements, helped us make style decisions, and managed everything so we left with perfect-fitting suits for our wedding. He was also flexible with our busy schedules. Very happy.
Raymond did an amazing job taking my measurements. I can’t wait to see how the suit turns out!
Usmaan deserves a raise. He took care of my father and I when we went for my wedding consultation. The whole staff was easy to work with and they’re all very experienced. Wish I could give this establishment more stars.
Absolutely amazing experience. I didn’t have an appointment and they made a way for me to be seen. Alexia was perfect. Felt at home and very satisfied with what I got and the price I paid for it. Definitely recommended.
Came in ready to buy 3 suits for myself and 2 family members for my wedding, but ended up leaving with nothing and instead went down the street to another shop that supplies suits.
We had booked an appointment for this morning except that all members of a party must have an appointment to get fitted together — my fault, miscommunicated that with my party but not an issue since the store said they could accommodate us at the top of the next hour.
We came back for our appointment and started looking at fabrics before getting measured. We had a few fabrics in mind for our suit based based off our wedding theme + what we saw on their site, and our rep was helpful in explaining that the fabrics we had in mind might be too thick for our summer wedding. As a result we weren’t ready to move forward with any of the fabrics they currently had in stock, but wanted to still get measured with Indochino and purchase our suits in a near future when we had more time to decide on a fabric (which I had done for myself 2 days at the Madison Ave location with no issue since the fabric I initially had in mind at the time wasn’t in stock)
At this point our rep said that it wouldn’t be possible to get measured unless we were planning to purchase something at the store at that moment because “weekends are when we make the most money” and that was company policy. However, we were welcome to book another appointment during the weekdays to get measured, despite being there at that moment with maybe only 1 other customer in the store.
So then we were cast aside and pretty much ignored since we didn’t commit to spending money in that moment, and won’t in the near future.
If you insist on visiting Indochino, come on a weekday where company policy is to have more patience or try out another location.
The consultation and visit was smoother than expected, everything was explained in detail and the options for fabrics and lining were expansive. I’ll definitely come back for more suits and I can’t wait to see how my suit comes out!
Update: Issue has been resolved. Thanks to Fergie for stepping in!

There are so many other options in NYC and you should take advantage of them!
While the suites are stylish and affordable, the employees take no accountability and are difficult to work with in resolving the issues that are a result of their actions.
We received a 3-piece suite with the vest being the incorrect color. In speaking with an employee to rectify the issue, they told us that we asked for the vest to be this color and would need to purchase a new one. Upon further digging on their end, they finally acknowledged they made a mistake.
We purchased a suite in NYC (where I live) and the employee told us we can ship it to the UK for free. It was held up in customs, Indochino wouldn't pay it, we eventually did and have yet to receive either suite.
Customer service said that if we did not pay the customs fee the suite would be DESTROYED. For a company that markets themselves as "socially responsible" and and values "sustainability and waste reduction", they certainly don't practice what they preach.
WORST QUALITY SUITS AND TERRIBLE SERVICE!
I have over 15 garments from Indochino. After only a few months 80% of my suits are ripped, faded (and i didnt even take them to dry cleaner too often)
And after that, when I reach out with a complaint, they say sorry its after 10 days of the order!
Well yeah obviously nothings gonna happen after 10 days!
Suits are supposed to last for years!
I will never buy from here again!
Best. Service. In. NYC. I went to three Indochino locations in the process of getting my tux prepared for my wedding. Of them all, the people here were most patient and accommodating. Special shoutouts to Usman and Trevin (sorry if names are spelled wrong!) for doing the final look with me and giving their opinions on everything from shoes to fit to bowtie color. The team here went above and beyond - highly recommend to everyone looking for a custom fit.
Amazing service and select. EDIT. Changing review cus size for shoulder didnt fit correct. Can do walk ins anytime to buy. But cannot do walk ins to do “final look” which is to adjust incorrect sizing. Store was empty they wouldnt take me. Wants to book me for an appointment weeks out.
Update: they did some alterations. Just as bad as before. Strong contender for worst purchase of my life with buying a Zune. This may age worse.
Received my first two suits from them yesterday.
Fit was far worse than off the rack, but I suppose they’ll alter/remake it, but still- worse than off the rack?
Original: Quality was disappointing. Feels like a Zara-quality suit. I don’t see how they can alter a mediocre suit into a nicer one: (
