It's a big garden to explore. Very peaceful and you feel serenity right away while you are walking around. During our visit, not too many people but still gotta wait for people to leave a certain spot when taking pics on specific angle. It's $10pp for the entrance fee via online, spacious parking spot. You have to drive very deep inside to get to the entrance. At one point I thought I got lost, took my parents with me during my visit. We all loved the place and we brought some food with us to eat there for lunch. There are benches for picnics in certain areas, not all areas you can eat at. Recommended to visit if you are in the area.

Expensive but not worth it if you’re under 50. It’s indisputably beautiful, but so are many other places in Dutchess County that don’t charge entry. It was full of old people, and aesthetic feels like its trying too hard. Great for a 1mi stroll around the lake if granny is visiting.

9.16.22 We drove 1.5 hours from CT, paid the $10pp entrance fee, and absolutely loved thus tranquil, beautiful area. Without reading much about this place I assumed by garden, it would be a floral garden. That it is not. Instead, all around this beautiful pond, you'll find unique trees, Asian inspired rock, plant gardens. The walk around the pond itself is probably just a mile long. You'll find many benches and spots to sit and relax and enjoy the serenity. It's great for all ages. It's especially great for painters and photographers. Enjoy.

I booked on line, I arrived and it's still not crowded Saturday AM, the ladies at the welcome booth were super friendly and explained the different paths you can take, they did offer a free guided tour, at 10: 30, but I declined. Grounds were beautifully kept, quiet, the walk took about an hour and a half, so much to see the bridge over the water was awesome. I'm going back in the fall, as I think with all the trees it's going to be stunning. Highly recommend this place.

So the second name in this place is garden, I must have missed the garden because to me garden means flowers and I’ll be walking through them especially that I had to pay to get in there, there was only a little bit of flowers in there and then a pond that they called a lake, to me if I wanted to walk around a pond I could of done that by my house for free, all I could say is I been there and I that’s it, I won’t be going back and honestly would not recommend it to anyone else.

Just a lovely experience all around. It was a super hot day when my daughter and I went and I was a little under the weather but they have magical places to sit and rest, ponder and contemplate. The topography is beautiful and interesting with plenty to look at. You could spend all day easily here and not be bored.

Very well maintained mid century modern garden, managed to make all the human manipulation and intervention look natural and effortless, as if Nature left it that way, must be the hardest job. Love the Adirondack chairs and benches dotted the property, always at the exact right view spot and same time creating a view themselves.

Innisfree is a wonderful place to walk, picnic, photo or just chill. I was disappointed their Community Day was poorly attended and that advance publicity about it was sparce.

Awful experience. You drive up a narrow dirt road only to find out it’s sold out. I ask how an outside place is sold out and the person working says “those were Covid rules about tickets” I say oh can I buy a ticket and they say no. They say you need to go check online. So you need to drive down the narrow road to get cell service to find out it’s still sold out. Give me a break.

We absolutely loved wandering around Innisfree Gardens. Wish we had more time because one hour is simply not enough. Especially not if you also want to do the hike around the lake,

Would love to go back one day when the fall colors are there. But it's a beautiful place to explore anyway.

Make sure not to the wish tree with all the little cards!

Docents were extremely helpful, pleasant and responsive to our needs. Autumn walk on a misty day was breathtaking! Tickets required. Senior discount, order on line.

Amazing place, Beautiful landscaping and awesome place to take some pictures of family or the landscape.
The area is very well taken care of and beautifully crafted.some of the walking areas could be better maintained.

I was expecting more flowers and color, but it was a beautiful, lush area with well kept grounds and interesting artifacts.
