Unfriendly staff, subpar food, way too loud interior with awkward seating arrangements. Really not that great and full of yt people who think they’re getting an authentic Korean experience.

Delish, kinda hipstery but overall good vibe. They have someone cook the bbq for you tho which I found odd

The food portions of a restaurant in Japan. (small)
With the price of an airport (expensive)
And the quality of a Mcdonald ()
And the speed of a snail. (39 minute wait for food)
This restaurant is perfect for the all of the uncultured butter toast swines of NY who can afford it no problem. Which is probably the only reason why it's still up and running.
But for Asians who want a peice of home and food to remind them of it, it's a slap in the face.
This is the Panda Express of Korean food.
Also I got bitten by mosquitoes 4 times in the span of the hour that I went to eat there.
Would not recommend.

If I could give zero stars I would. Had a birthday celebration there. The mics didn't work in the kaoroke room for 75% of the time. The staff kept telling me it wasn't on but the charge wouldn't stay. The volume didn't work on the remote control so you couldn't control the volume of the songs or the mics when they worked. The servers are all awesome and the food for the most part is very good but the management is AWFUL. They charged me a "confetti fee" for $100 bc a kid popped a baloon that had about 20 pieces of sequence in it. Took forever to get service and help in the kaoroke room. If they had any competition in the neighborhood they would be out of business in six months. What a TERRIBLE experience. You want to walk away from a celebration feel great and instead I feel like I was robbed. They push people in and out, charge as much as possible and don't care at all about whether or not people enjoy the experience. Again - the servers are great - management is terrible.

Very cool place. Drove all the way from sheepshead Bay to eat here and it was well worth it! Very friendly staff, excellent food. I must have arrived just before dinner service because all my food was ready in a heartbeat. Very pleasant experience all around. Good job! I will definitely be coming back often and telling all my friends about you.

We booked a karaoke room here and got some drinks and a snack. The snack menu is understandably limited. The fried mushrooms were just so-so. The alcohol is okay and probably not worth the price except you're in a private karaoke room. The service was quick and friendly but there were a lot of disruptions for an hour of private karaoke. Overall, it's a pricey experience, but that's about what you expect.

Had my birthday dinner here and was able to also reserve a karaoke room and create a custom dinner menu. The fried chicken is to die for- but everything was great. Would definitely host another event here.

The person who prepared our food at our table was incredible, such a joy to watch and such good food. It was incredibly loud, wasn't really able to have a romantic or relaxing experience.

It was my second time here. The first one was few years ago. Back then it was more or less ok. However, this time it was waste of time amd money. The food was mostly horrible. The bibimba was ok. The tofu stew tasted like they wash the dishes and used this water to cook. The bloody sausage was so fatty and oily we couldnt even eat it. Even now, a week after the visit, when I write this review the thought about that sausage makes me sick. The reason I put 2 stars is the service which is good and atmosphere.
Never again.

QR code menus are a cheap joke. For the prices they charge $ ($10 beers in BK), they can do better. Fun experience and tasty otherwise.

Went there just for the karaoke rooms - clean, nice staff, great stereo & mic setup. FUN!

Celebrated my birthday here w/ kbbq and karaoke and my friends and I loved it. We came late and they still accommodated us and were kind and attentive.

Wish we could barbeque for ourselves but they grilled everything perfectly so worked out regardless.

Insa is a Korean BBQ restaurant that is conveniently located for those of us who live in Brooklyn and don’t want to travel to K-town, Flushing, or Palisades Park for kbbq. Though, I would say it is worth it to travel to the above listed places for good quality korean bbq.

My partner and I shared the pajeon which was lacking adequate green onions. It was also quite thick, not like the traditionally thin pajeon. We split a bottle of makgeolli which was delicious but 3x the price of the bottle bought from the actual shop in Brooklyn.

The banchans were decent. They did continuously resupply us with more when we finished them.

As for the barbecue itself, meat is always good. Our server, however, seemed to be unsure of how to properly execute the act of barbecuing. It was good, nonetheless, just slightly painful to watch him unsteadily flip the steak time and time again.

Overall, it was decent. I would choose to go to other Korean bbq restaurants in the future over this one, though. Glad to have tried it. It seems like they are more popular for their bar and karaoke rooms which I did not experience.

Unbelievable! I was blown away by the service food, quality of meat — all of it! The fried chicken and shishito peppers were out of this world

Barbecue at the table was fun and delicious. If you're in the mood, do the karaoke. Super fun atmosphere. And well set up.

A great place for a birthday party for a teenager. Karaoke was the perfect place to let a bunch of teens kick back and enjoy a few hours singing their eyeballs out.

The food was mediocre and seemed to be lacking in flavor/spices. I wouldn’t even consider this place a “kbbq” spot when bulgogi wasn’t even an option to be cooked on the grill, how lame. It’s a korean joint with no korean song option… i mean come on. It’s overpriced as well. One thing i can compliment on is the wonderful staff.
