Integral Yoga Institute reviews
12Now emerging from the Covid frenzy, slowly getting back into gear. Bookstore is a great place for human development books, and next door is a huge art and events place well worth stopping by when you are in the area.
My sister, her fiancé and I went on New Year's Eve with Melanie and it was awesome! The studio is beautiful, the lightening is great and the vibe was very welcoming. We loved Melanie's class, I really enjoyed the music too.
Integral Yoga Institute has been a great addition to my routine and I'm always welcomed with the friendly staff! I started with the intro month to start out but ended up purchasing the membership because of the variety of classes and the positive changes I noticed with my mentality, balance, and flexibility. Great way to challenge yourself and get a good sweat after work!
Love this location dalton is one of my fav teachers I would recommend anyone to come here and learn to practice
Been looking for a yoga studio here in LA for a bit and decided to give this place a shot cause of there deal $40 unlimited for a month. Loved it! Nice studio, clean, modern, friendly staff. One of the yoga instructors is a fellow Seminole so made me feel a little at home. The class was great! Walked out ready to take on my day
I love this place. I get a really great workout/sweat sesh in and feel more balanced after. Great choice of music and wonderful instructors. However, there isn't a huge difference in the classes as far as the routine. I wish there would be more of a variety of other poses/movements.
I started shopping here when they first opened and folks worked for free to balance their karma. I have always loved Integral Yoga because of their integrity and great bulk and produce selections. The deli is great as well. I used to travel all the way from the Bronx to shop here. The closing of this store was most unfortunate. I almost feel betrayed. I am certain that there are many people who wish they were still open.
From the moment I walked in I was made to feel comfortable by the lovely woman in the gift shop. She answered all of my questions and made me feel very welcome come. I went up to the studio and and it was just beautiful and very clean. The instructor was absolutely fabulous. I took a Yin Yoga class and will most definitely be going back again and hopefully to practice other forms of yoga. She was so helpful showing me variations that were for my body. She even helped me after the practice was over. I give Integral Yoga 10.stars, especially my instructor.
If you are looking for a place to be pushed to your boundaries and come out feeling like you've had an incredible workout - this place is NOT for you.
I like that the teachers create an open space for me to practice - they don't put their judgments of what I should or should not be able to do. I like the opportunity to graceful explore my own boundaries while being supported to not strain. In a world were we are taught to strive, push boundaries, keep going through the pain, this is a counterbalance and as a busy New Yorker, I appreciate this!
Took an incredible class on zoom. It was a great combination of physical, mental and spiritual work. The teacher was extremely knowledgeable and I really enjoyed the class. I have been doing yoga for 20+years and it was one of the best classes I have ever taken. Thank you IYI for such a great class.
Integral Yoga NYC gives me an easeful body, a peaceful mind, and a useful life through it's practices, teachings and community (Sangha. I am very grateful for the lifeline IYI has provided during this Covid time in particular. IYI NYC has become my spiritual home. Om Shanti
Being someone who practices hot yoga roughly twice per week for a loooong time, I figured I could jump right into Integral Yoga Institute class (thanks to ClassPass). Well, not really. While the entire experience was a solid one, it certainly had a few bumps along the way.
