International Institute of Buffalo reviews
7 Absolutely useless organisation. Advocates are unprofessional, irresponsible, zero help.
English classes, hm.can't even describe, probably classes are only for some people, not for everyone. Help with job searching same, zero. Even translators are useless, they charge $50.00 per paper and it takes forever to reach them, and they not return your call in 1 business days as they have to.
Overall it's very very bad, the only people who gets help is Arabic, if you have no one to help, don't think that they will. I don't understand why all these people are there, what for? I will definitely not recommend.
Unprofessional when professional is their goal, I guess because they deal with a lot of foreigners they think they could get a way with it, also if u try to call forget it no one at their desk all day long.
My experience with this organization was horrible to say the least. Black women looking for advocacy stay far away from them. Not one woman of color is on staff in their DV program at least so there is no way they can empathize with our issues. I did not experience blatant overt racism but microaggressions and subtle racism definitely. I said I would speak about my experience as long as I have breath until I see change.
Wonderful organization that does important work. The staff care deeply about what they do and who they serve.
We went there to get a birth certificate translated. The front desk was very helpful and nice.
A great resource for refugees and people already in Buffalo. The cultural events they put on are fantastic. The staff here cares deeply about the people they are helping.
I've been a Receptionists here at The International Institute of Buffalo for over four years and live it. I'm passionate about the work we do, the clientele we service, and our staff.
