Great people and atmosphere. My dish was ok. Steak, rice, and white beans. Have to try different things on the menu.

Food was amazing they put a lot of care into their food and waiters are friendly and welcoming.

HEALTH HAZARD: Very suspicious establishment. Restaurant messed up order by providing extra soup. Once they realized they called to charge and decided to go to the house and pick back up soup. Beware of food here as they are re using food from places that has been delivered and serving back to customers

Terrible service and they include a 20% tip and the server didn’t even show up to the table once to ask if everything was ok.
I don’t feel comfortable paying that amount for a tip when my food was almost the same price as the tip im leaving!

La comida estuvo buena.
Pero incluyen en la cuenta un tip del 20% incluso cuando el mesero no se acercó nunca a la mesa.
Por una cuenta de 47 dólares terminamos pagando 64! Nunca vayan, les van a robar de la misma manera! La mujer que estaba en la computadora me dijo “el sistema automáticamente les cobra eso”.
Y que pasa si es que el mesero no se merece? De todas formas se gana el tip! Abusivos!

This place is over priced purchased a couple of desserts regular flan and chocolate cake flan the regular and chocolate cake flan custard was over cooked and the chocolate cake flan the cake was dry and overcooked if you are going to change $7.00 for a dessert it better be worth it in quality and quantity. Sorry to say if you weren't great Peruvian food la Candela restaurant is the best in the island.

Guys be aware this place is not what it used to be they're charging more money and they're giving you less food I ordered the other day And when I got home my family and friends notice that there was less food and smaller containers The quantity of food doesn't represent of what you are paying for. During the pandemic the prices went up I understand They said support your local business but This restaurant is practicing something that is not fair for the customers I called yesterday and I spoke to someone that said that she was in charge and said that the company that makes the containers don't make those sizes no more that's why they're using the smaller ones she was rude and not letting me talk She told me that the amount of food was the same when they used the smaller containers "really"The amount of food that they are giving you now doesn't represent on what you pay for so be aware I believe that she didn't care Besides when you ask for extra hot sauce they charge you for the extra ones This place used to be on top of my list as a Peruvian restaurant I used to recommend friends coworkers and family I'm not gonna do it anymore
