The food was amazing. There were a good amount of veggie options. The reason why I am giving the restaurant one star is because we got severely rushed out. Our reservation was at 3 by 3: 45 the server already brought out the check and was rushing us out the door. I had to chug my drink and get my ramen to go. Their excuse was that they were prepping for dinner. It ruined the whole atmosphere.

I'm sure this is just our server. Server needed to be "called" since he obviously forgot to take our order even though he did serve the couple next to us who were seated much later and then forgot to bring our food. He was coming over probably thinking with the elapsed time we should be done eating and stop in his steps and run back. He apologized but still showed up with 1 dish.more wait for the 2nd.which by then, the other couple had paid and gone.

The karage is supbar & the ramen was too salty. But the ambience and the waiters were amazing, really appreciate them.

The taste is almost the same as in Japan, but the ingredients are different.
I was told that I could do a split check, but not a separate check. I was surprised because this is the first time I've been told that I can't do something in America and Canada. If you would like separate items, please let us know before ordering.

If you want to separate the check, you should tell them that before you order.

Despite living nearby for 10 years and eating here once every few weeks, it took me leaving NYC for good to realize how special Ippudo really is.

Eating ramen elsewhere will never ever compare to the OG of them all (sorry Momofuku not you).

Love the seasonal shrimp bun! Definitely try it.

The noodles in my miso ramen weren’t fully cooked, not soft, so didn’t love that. However, still flavorful overall.

The broth was sooo good - so much umami flavours that bring you on a.m journey from the moment the spoon of broth is in your mouth to the aftertaste. We asked for the noodles to be semi-hard so it doesn’t become too soggy so we can take our time to enjoy the bowl. I had the non-meat ramen, i would highly recommend the Nirvana Karaka if you’re looking for something spicy. The ramen can’t be vegan though since the noodles are made of eggs.
It’s a bit on the pricey side but worth it!

Definitely coming back here! To start the restaurant had very nice decor and a cool vibe. The staff was very attentive and did an exceptional job. And the food was amazing, I sat at the bar and seen all the ingredients that were being used. All looked very fresh and tasted great!

Food was most excellent and waiters were super nice too. Would request that the hostess not be so unpleasant to deal with but overall 5 stars for the amazing ramen and pork buns

The food was excellent. Apps all had great flavor. Definitely my favorite veggie ramen so far. The staff was excellent and did a wonderful job accommodating a multitude of requests from our large party. The restaurant itself had a great atmosphere and look to it.

Loved the Ramens here. One of those few Ramen places that offer you multiple vegetarian Ramen options. Their speciality Spicy Karaka ramens were delicious. Even if you are a non vegetarian, recommend trying their vegetarian Nirvana Karaka Ramen. The portion size is just right. If you have a good appetite, you could also try one of their starters, before moving onto the Ramen. Staff and service was very satisfying. Recommend making a reservation to avoid long wait times, since the place is very busy.

I’m a huge ramen lover and this used to be one of my favourite places but the quality has gone down the drain. Change of owners? Broth had a THICK yucky layer of oil that had to be scooped out, barely any actual broth, toppings were the most basic I’ve ever experienced on a ramen, and greens were inedible. In no way worth $23. And that doesn’t even include an egg! Felt nauseous the whole day after and still now that I think about it. Dated music blasting on full volume, place feels dirty and in need of a refurb.

We arrived at 9. They didn't tell us that the menu is limited… we ordered 3 appetizers and 2 ramen, all good, regular food, nothing out of this world. When we went to order dessert they did not want to sell because they were about to close and after an hour the menu is limited.and only 5 laminitis ago we saw how they made desserts…

Really good Japanese food with a fusion aesthetic in the design of the restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff.

I went for the ramen here after hearing so many good reviews from people, and it was so good that I even forgot to take pictures

We had their chicken wings and the nirvana shiromaru ramen and it was damn good!

If you want to have a real ramen experience in NYC, this is the place to be!

Service is good.
Food is just ok, shrimp bun tasted bland.chicken karage is inedible, veg ramen is okay.
Expensive for the quality of food served.
Will not be going back.
