Dr Lynch is absolutely WONDERFUL! She is very professional, friendly and has a caring manner. She thoroughly explains everything and answers any questions. She takes time to listen. She’s a gem!

I've been a patient at Island Better Hearing for about 20 years now. I've worked with Dr. 's Lori, Tracey, and mostly Tara over the years. They are all great professionals that will take good care of you and not try to oversell you something you don't need.

I don't often leave reviews, but Island Better Hearing is exceptional in their commitment to patient / customer satisfaction and it truly shows. Everytime I'm there it's always a wonderful and pleasant experience, with a dedicated staff, especially Dr. Lynch who is truly and absolutely amazing! I've been coming to them for 8 years now and have recommended others who share in the same great experience as me. 5 stars!

IBH is hands-down by far the best place ever! To lose your hearing overnight and wake up with the world shut off is terrifying. Not knowing what to do next when it comes to your hearing is the most unnerving experience ever.
It can be extremely traumatizing and shocking to the life around you. In going through my experience with my recent hearing loss, I reached out to Island Better Hearing where Lori Trentacoste, Tara Ryan and Tracey Lynch stood tall and proud with their superhero capes on ready and willing to help me immediately.
They swooped in and not only made me feel understood, comfortable and calm but walked me through every step of the process of receiving and understanding hearing aids at their finest all while bringing me back the gift of sound that I was so desperately lacking.
To call them lifesavers would be an understatement. These woman are truly passionate about their work, their process and their patients…. Something that you unfortunately don’t find as often these days.
You don’t feel like you’re standing in a deli line waiting for your number to be called. They make it known that you and what you’re experiencing is valid and they go above and beyond to make you as comfortable as possible.
The difference they made in my life in just one visit was mind blowing to say the least. I’ve never felt more grateful for people like this in my life! If you ever experience any type of audiological/hearing issues look no further…Island Better Hearing is the place to be! I would travel across the country to go there before anywhere else.

I have used hearing aids since childhood and now have a Cochlear Implant and a hearing aid. As an adult I first visited Island Better Hearing in the 70's and most recently before the holidays (2023). The audiologist and office staff treat you with caring and friendly respect. Hearing aid technology keeps getting better and Drs. Lori, Kara, Tracy, and Allison are EXPERTS. Beyond their office they reach out to the community to educate, test, and motivate. If you, a family member, or friend deal with hearing loss a visit to IBH can change your life.

Dr. Lori and staff are so kind, welcoming and take the time to explain everything. Definitely recommend!

I stopped in without an appointment as my hearing aid was malfunctioning. I was in a bit of a panic as I am dependent on these for daily life. The staff was great and took care of the problem in 20 minutes! They are a blessing!

8-7 23- Saturday night I went to see Grease At the Argyle Theater. I was emotional at how I could hear every word spoken and every note sang with my new hearing aids. I cannot thank Dr. Jill enough for fitting me with the perfect hearing aids and being respectful of my budget. I have my hearing and my life back. If you are on the fence about hearing aids don't waste anymore time and call Dr. Jill for an appointment.

I saw Dr. Jill on for a hearing test and hearing aids. She took her time with me and made sure I was satisfied with my selection of hearing aids. The office staff is friendly and welcoming and I recommend it strongly if you need hearing aids call for an appointment.
