Island Neurological Associates reviews
6If you want to experience the worst, most unhelpful, rude, and borderline terrible office staff, this is your place! Do not come here.
Danielle Bruno and Dr Turner are incredible and for that reason I am so sad that Dr turner is retiring. The nurse that worked the infusion center was fabulous too. NGL, I'm going to miss this place.
I called today to see if I could schedule an appointment as a new patient. I pressed the prompts and someone picked up the phone and hung up. Then I called back and a woman answered scoffing sounding really upset. “Hello! Yea! What do you need an appointment for? ! “ I was fully taken aback by her behavior because I hadn’t done or even said anything. I tried to explain to her that my allergist wanted me to be seen because of my seizures. She immediately cut me off “we don’t do dat here” and then she hung up on me for now a SECOND TIME. If the staff behaves like this towards new patients I can only imagine what they do to regulars. If you hate your job so much quit. This practice should be ashamed of itself. This is clearly a hostile environment. I’m glad I didn’t waste my time
Extremely helpful. Gave me an appointment as soon as my attacks started. Doctor was not in. Saw Danielle Bruno NP who not only gave me relief from attacks, gave me hope with treatment options. Highly recommended.
The doctors are great but after an initial visit you see the nurse practitioner. I've known magnificent NPs but that's not the case here. She doesn't listen to me, interrupts me, pushes her own agenda. Without consulting with me, she has discontinued and drastically reduced therapeutic medications, which has resulted in a decrease in my well-being and lengthy times being bedridden. My wellness doesn't matter, only her myopic agenda matters.
If you can manage to see just the doctors, you would probably be OK. The problem is, they don't seem to do that.
So, I do not recommend this practice. Just the opposite. Go elsewhere.
