THE FOOD WAS GOOD A BIT DIFFERENT THAN MOST MEDITERANEAN. BUT WORTH THE EXPERIENCE. BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE NO BEER NWINE SERVED.
In my life's quest to find good tasting strong coffee this place was recommended by coworker. She's from Turkey and she said this place has really good coffee. I got a medium coffee with a little sugar and it did not disappoint. Very good coffee I was a little disappointed when I found out they did not sell the coffee grounds so I can make it at home but it's a cafe I went there got fresh cup of coffee and it was good. If I'm out in this area again I will buy coffee from here and I highly recommend this place.
Great turkish food, super fresh. Friendly & kind staff. Loved their pistachio baklava & tres leches.
We are not local but our friends always raved about this spot. Having visited Turkey, I loved kebabs and this place is as authentic as it gets, provided u order the right dishes. We ordered the mixed grill, iskender kebab and mixed meat pide. Everything was top notch and flavorful. The chicken kebab was a bit dry but the gyro meat and everything else was awesome. The iskender kebab was tender and juicy. Pide was great and the crust, nice n soft. The Turkish tea was nice and smooth. For dessert, we got some baklava and pista sweet, absolutely unbelievable and similar to what I ate in Istanbul. The Kunafe was good but a lil too sweet compared to the baklava.
Give a no frills cafe with top notch food and I ll visit this place every time. For $160 it was a lil pricey but everything was amazing.
Will def come back here next time we in town.
The restaurant was very clean very hospitable was the staff and the food was amazing fresh hot. There wasn't anything that we could ask for that wasn't granted if they had it on premises and I will definitely return there and we were. A party of thirteen and the service was amazing on time quick the Appetizers were delicious and again the best part about it was the customer service. Well besides the desserts you have to try The desserts they are amazing thank you istanbul cafe will see you again
This was our first visit to this amazing cafe and we will be returning again. The food was amazing, the servers were so friendly. We got a gyro Prid our first time trying, so flavorful and then we got lamb ground meat cooked on open grill, to die for taste. So so good. It’s only a 8 minute drive from our church too. I would highly recommend trying this place out. Can you say yum.
Everything about my experience here was so pleasurable. From dinner to coffee and desserts. I plan on coming back again and again.
We went by dreaming of having dinner with pleasure, it was a disappointment for me that we ordered iskeder, when the table came, I smelled a lot of garlic, I thought it must have been roasted, but it tasted like meat, the pita under it was completely doughy and very thick tomato paste, I don't think I will ever eat it again.
He manages the winner
The property is very clean
As an immigrant from Taiwan, I am telling you they have one of best deserts and cookies in Long Island.
Great Turkish food with nice portions. Prices were a bit higher but may be because we went on Mother's Day. Still enjoyed the food very much.
Hello
I was trying to find my old friend, and they told me you'll able to locate him easily to if you ask over so, did drive 45 min to get there so meet to owner, he's been polite and friendly but wasn't successful so, I purchased some salty cookies than I see they do served food, looks soo good like art than I ask them to having meat stew with vegetables, rice and salad, taste is soo good did finished everything on my plates, than baklava yummy you can smell butter flavor and taste of pistachios just cooked right than tea, I felt like I am in haven. Did get pastries and pay it before I leave they did offer me rice pudding without charging. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Biggest point. They are serving food really well on time and fresh, just forget to say, salad being prepared perfectly you cen get full flavor of salad without using any topping.
BEST OF BEST CLEAN HOME MADE TUTKISH RESTAURANT.
You will not disappoint it.
