Ithaca Children's Garden reviews
8I wish we had one of these where we live. This is one of the things that brings us to Ithaca because our kids love it so much. Totally free and safe nature-based play with plenty of room to run around and explore. Lots of fun things to do there!
So many things to do here, you could easily spend a half day enjoying the children’s garden! Since the play is self directed, all ages are well represented. Some more seasoned parents brought sand toys and other implements with them, which made the experience much more fun — especially when they shared.
Bring a change of clothes and play shoes.
Thank you! 5 stars is not enough. My mom snacked in the garden. My sisters danced in the mud and climbed the banyon looking trees. It was quiet and well worth the drive (3 hours one way for us.) It reminded me of Lawrence, Ks. We will be back.
Visited Ithaca on the Easter weekend and happened to find this place.
My boys ended up playing here for a while, some of the plants were just popping up but I can imagine this place looking great in a few weeks.
Plenty of parking and free too.
Beautiful garden and area for kids to play. So many things to do and look at and really a great hidden gem for families to stop at passing through to stop and stretch your legs!
Childhood imagination embodied in a park. Great place for anyone to take a stroll through, but idyllic for the 10 and under crowd. The place has a connection to nature that is missing from every manufactured kids playground.
It was our 1st time here and my son (5) had so much fun! Best part is it's a fun FREE activity.
A treasure in Ithaca that promotes free play and freedom of expression for kids young and less young. Can't beat being next to Cayuga Lake inlet.
