J & A Repair Shop reviews
14I have been bringing my vehicle to Ralph for about 5 years; inspections, oil changes, and of course, some significant mechanical work. The man has integrity. He will tell me right off, you don't need that, or it's too expensive. There is no turnover with his mechanics, and between price promised and price paid, Ralph maintains a loyal customer base.
Started my warranty process with the repair shop who ryobi sub contracted to. At first ryobi gave us the run around which i don't blame them as a business but after denying me a 2nd time saying the warranty was expired which wasn't true J A Repair shop followed up with me and was able to determine Ryobi didn't understand their warranty. J A repair shop was able to get me a brand new replacement lawn mower from Ryobi after pointing out the warranty on the lawn mower still covered my lawn mower.
I gave in a miter saw for repairs they said it will be ready in a week when i called then they said they still need to order a part and it will take another week, well the end game was it took 3 monthes and i had to order the part for them myself.
So regarding this tool repair shop, its disgusting to let a customer wait so long, especially when its an important tool, daily needed and business wise causing a big loss for our busy work shop, so if your tool needs a repair, then consider for when you will need it because covid might be over before your tool would be repaired. TIME IS MONEY! !
How many times do I have to go back for one tool? How many times can they tell me to come back tomorrow and it be ready?
If u ever go there u should know it will take about 10 times longer then they say it will take.
The staff is extremely professional and accommodating. I have brought multiple tools into them over the years and everyone that had parts still available, were fixed in a timely fashion. The staff did a fantastic job explaining the entire process and what was done to my tool. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and use this place again.
It’s a great place gave my tool to fix hade no issues just one thing the communication could use some help I wasn’t notified when it was ready for pick up
It took over three months to repair the tool. The tool was under warranty but they tried to charge me a service charge.
They took our sneak machine for repair on September, I kept calling them since then now December finally i got my machine back i am not joking it took 65 days to take it back when i dropped they said 2 weeks will be
So unprofessional
Stay far away from this place! They do not know how to follow up nor return phone calls. I have been trying to get my compressor repaired as the company who sold it to me recommended I call them. The guy is in the back he will call u right back someone will call you tomorrow. Guess what nobody calls you back. If you want the run around then these are your guys! It has been almost 8 months now! I don’t know how these guys are still in business!
Dropped off my lawn mower for repair last summer and wait for them to call me, but more than 6 months later and no call at all. I Called them up and told them the story. But the respond I got from them is we don’t do free storage here, you have to following up on your personal property. So unprofessional, very Sad not even a sorry from them.
I have found that they have access to replacement parts when other repair shops don't this service is quick and efficient!
Great place! Top of the notch kind of place. For me they are the best honest shop in town.
Funny “professionals” are working here. Wasted time. Sad that Milwaukee have a service center here.
