Jacques Torres Chocolate reviews
18Absolutely amazing experience! Wonderful customer service and incredible chocolate cake. I plan to be back.
Its just ok!
I tried it and for the price ($5 for 8oz small cup) I dint feel like I was having anything special ️ just another cup of hot chocolate!
I really like chocolates but especially the ones made here. Ths shop gives me what i want and i am very satisfied. Professional and excellent staff.
Current selection isn't as extensive as it was pre-pandemic. But their mega big cookies are still soft, chewy, and delicious. Worth stopping by for of you're in the area. The wait time for purchasing is reasonable, only downside is that most people aren't practicing social distancing when queuing in line.
The hot chocolate with vanilla ice cream was dummy good, also the workers there was hella funny
We got the small hot chocolate with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Its so good I regret not buying the large.
We went for an Ice cream, we were just eating and the experience got really bad as we saw a mouse inside the store
Nice atmosphere. Good chocolate drink. The freezer for ice cream was broken when I visited in summer. The employee looked a little tired or negative.
Went to get Ice cream and let me tell you, what a Rip off. Girl serving Ice cream seemed like she didn't want to be there. I asked for 1Scoop of Coconut Sorbet and what I received seemed like a Joke. A tiny scoop of Sorbet for 5 bucks. I left it on the counter and left. It would've been a Sin to pay for the tiny bit of Sorbet I got. NEVER AGAIN.
Was actually trying to get ice cream from the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory but it was really hot and we didn't feel like walking another block without a treat. We saw this shop because it was so colorful so we went inside to try. The coconut sorbet was my favorite and the girl helping me was really sweet. The shop reminds me of Paris!
Giant chocolate chip cookie are phenomenal especially when served hot. Frozen hot chocolate is high quality.
Absolutely dreadful. Overpriced, tiny chocolates, really old and tired pastries, nothing that conveys the artistry that was once linked to the name.
The chocolate chip cookies are a gastronomic delight. Jacques Torres' chocolate chip cookies are the best cookies and I also love the dark chocolate almond bark. Stop by the DUMBO location and you will not be disappointed.
Their icescream s weren't very impressive. Bath room was really dirty, faucet was leaking, paper towel box broken, soap bottle was temporary one, obviously it needs more attention for repair. Can't believe tour books would recommend this place.
They sell several kinds of dessert, which are ice creams, biscuits, cakes with chocolates. I do not recommend chocolate drink cuz it is too sweet and thick to drink.
Pretty good mango sorbet, their bonbons were ok. They do have some fun things like chocolate covered cornflakes and cheerios. But we called ahead to ask if they give tours and were told that they did. When we got there, they said they didn't.
I'm still loving the chocolate covered macadamias I bought there. I'm just glad TSA didn't mug me of THOSE, too!
A very quaint and cozy little shop with a wide variety of sweet treats. Seating is limited and the shop does get quite crowded due to its proximity to many popular sights. Definitely worth checking out if you are in DUMBO.
