Jade Bistro reviews
18The food was so good. We stopped in after a hike and needed lots of food! We got the lunch specials including sushi as well as a tempura appetizer and Thai tea. Everything was very good, I was so pleasantly surprised because the place was empty on a Saturday. The service was quick and they were so sweet. I am definitely going back when I'm in the area. I was not paid for this review, they deserve more customers. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. The sushi appeared fresh and was so yummy. Thank you guys ️
My family visited last week and raved about the food and service. Our kids are 1/2 Chinese who grew up eating it daily so their expectations are typically low for places outside of Chinatown NYC. Hubby raved about the Singapore Mei Fun (little too spicy) and agreed worth returning when back in town again.
I've been here dozens of times. Every time the service was good, the food was great, and it's always a good price.
Just placed an order for 13 people. Everything was delivered hot and labeled correctly. Delicious, good quality food and very reasonably priced! Will order again!
4 represents bad luck in some forms of Asian culture but this 4 is for good luck. Highly underrated restaurant the food is good but the seating and relaxing atmosphere is why it went from a 3 to a 4 the restaurant is relaxing not in a way where it feels like it’s dead and is getting no business but in a way where it feels peaceful to eat and relax with your family.
We had a group of nine, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Yes, it took a while to cook, but everything came out hot and fresh. Will definitely come back…. I have no idea why this restaurant has so many 1-stars; this was among the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.
I must say, wood of mouth, NEEDS to spread about JADE BISTRO. This cozy, intimate venue is a MUST. The aroma alone, can mesmerize your inhabitions and disable your mute attempt to exit. The cashier has a little growing up to do and, somewhere down the line, a customer service course should be in her future.
After placing my order, I did realize that all of the other employees were extremely welcoming, approachable and friendly.
For a GREAT night out of the kitchen, JADE BISTRO is the place.
Horrible service.
We were a party of 4 we were the only customers in the restaurant at 5: 30. It tookover 20 minutes to get served. People were coming in and were seated but after waiting for service a older couple walked out. The restaurant was doing a good takeout business but ignored the customers who were about 15 people. I made the mistake at the end of our meal and ordered ice cream. It actually took 25 minutes to get our order. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Shady delivery service
2 men show up smelling like weed. Say they don't have any change to give us, didn't know our order total, somehow coughed up 9 bucks, then asked for a bigger tip since it was the two of them. NEVER ORDERING FOR DELIVERY AGAIN but at least the food was good and hot.hustling people for extra tip by claiming no change is not right.
Amazing food and the people working there are great. Best Chinese food I’ve tasted and will get food from here again.
First time ordering from this restaurant. The order arrived very fast; the sushi and the cashew chicken lunch special were fresh, but the salmon teriyaki was inedible - the fish was not fresh, had a fishy smell and tasted stale.
We sat in the restaurant, and all we heard was incredibly loud yelling at the poor young woman up front. It was horrible
You can’t beat the pricing for a quick takeout snack. Chicken tempera sushi and dumpling. I forgot to get the Taro bubble tea. Next time.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Delivery was 1hr 15m late. The quality of the Sushi & Sashimi was terrible. I've have better from a supermarket! Other Chinese meals we ordered were cold and tasteless. I don't know if it changed owners but it was absolutely awful!
BEST Chinese place around! This is a small family owned restaurant. We drive 30 min out of of our way to come here. The food is flavorful, large portions, and always served freshly hot! If hot spicy noodles are your thing definitely go for the chow fun medium or hotter!
The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I really loved the environment of this spot. Wonderful place to take my family out for dinner.
This is another Asian fusion restaurant in the area. It offers Chinese, Japanese, and Thai dishes primarily. Out of the Asian fusion restaurants in the area that I have tried that are like this one, this one has shown to charge a little bit extra for similar dishes, and give less. That's completely fine to do if they can deliver in taste, which I have not seen. In addition they have the worst delivery experience I have had so far in town.
They have a couple "fancier" versions to their dishes on the menu, which at first got me excited. For example they were one of the few in the area who offered hibachi styled entrees. I soon realized that it was really a name just for show. Maybe it was just me they decided to mess with, but one day I ordered teriyaki shrimp and hibachi shrimp, and I laughed when I saw that I was given the same dash of shrimp in both containers.
I worked about a minute from from their establishment and I have them deliver to me when I am unable to leave. The receptionist lady is very chipper and polite, and she had no issues answering questions or updating online delivery tracking. It was the delivery guys that made the experience sour. On the first occasion, delivery took 30 minutes after leaving the store. The second occasion took 50, which I thought was a bit much for my location and smaller order. On the third and final occasion they took 1hr and 20 minutes to deliver my smallest order yet. Not to mention the delivery guy they sent that time was absolutely unpolite. You would think paying someone extra fees and tip for a minute drive would warrant them not shoving your food at you and you grasping to catch it before it falls.
Apparently some others near here have the same issue. If you are closer to them, they make you wait longer. Their delivery guys put us at the bottom of the list because we are a roll away from their store. They'd rather go farther and come to you last so they can easily finish and go back. That seems unfair to me because we all have to pay the same delivery fee no matter how close we are, and we tip extra on top of it. Why should we get colder food for being nearer and overpaying for the drive?
The overall point is that the food at this establishment offers less, charges a little bit more in comparison to some others of the same type in the area. The food quality is so-so and if you are close and starving, it might be better to just go pick it up instead of choosing delivery because you might just get a bad one.
