Lost and desperate in NYC. Found this place by accident and what a wonderful surprise! Saved us from an absolute Sh*t day traveling on Southwest Airlines. Another story for another day. Tomorrow.

Wonderful authentic food. Great beer and wine. Superb service. Made our day better. Thank you!

Came here on the evening before Thanksgiving and was able to quickly get a table, surprisingly there was a decent number of people coming into the restaurant throughout the night. My favorite food of the night was the pierogi, it tasted amazing. The pretzel was good and tasted better than actual pretzels I tried in Bavaria, although I think the sauce selection could’ve been better. We enjoyed 2 of the 3 wursts from the sampler. The Jäger Schnitzel was meh, the outside was not that crispy and the sides (potatoes and string beans) were forgettable (for what it’s worth, the person who I gave the leftovers to REALLY liked the schnitzel). Definitely recommend the Augustiner Hellis, it’s great to see a selection of Bavarian beers here. Would love to see Radlers too. Overall, the food was alright and the service was good. Don’t think I would come back here too often since it doesn’t really seem worth the price to me, but cool to have authentic Bavarian food here in Queens.

Went here with a large group for a family event this past weekend. Food and service were excellent. I had the Black Forest Hanchen Cordon Bleu and the Giant Pretzel appetizer. Everyone else in my group enjoyed it also. Good German beer also.

We had nice dinner. We ordered the salmon sandwiches, schnitzel. We were lucky on that rainy Saturday to find parking right in front. It’s a cozy restaurant. Great service!

Went simply for the pretzel? And beer! Big pretzel! You can share it, as it's a bit pricey.but they give 3 types of mustards. Tried the flyer sample beer. I shared it, and we had fun rating each 1-5 after each sip. We went outdoors, and the service was fast and friendly. A great place to have a simple cheers and snack.

Absolute waste of food and money. The $15 pierogies were 4 measly ones. Half a container. Everything else was too salty. 3 stars because the beef itself was good. Ugh. Gonna stick to my beautiful Asian cuisine instead.

I’m so mad that I didn’t get to take pics - but deff next time, so the peirogies were amazing flavor and had awesome crips to them, wings were huge, delicious, the potato bacon parsley crocquettes were bomb the kilbasas were all great with flavor the schnitzel was great but needed Chicken to be a little more seasoned. The chips were good too, the desserts were delicious we had the raspberry creme brûlée - amazing out of the world and the cheesecake was great just how I like it. The German chocolate cake with cherry sauce was good.

A great local summer spot. Classic German beers, great boiled sausages (get the veal sausage!) and attentive service. Their outdoor patio is the best in the hood.

My wife Sandy & I have been regulars of this hidden gem for years. The owner Angie and her wonderful staff has always been accommodating and every so friendly. We highly recommend the Mango Salmon, it just melts in your mouth. Check it out!

I had the Jäger Schnitzel and friend had the Weiner Schnitzel. Both dishes were tasty, though the presentations were lacking. The green beans were on the soggy side and the potatoes looked like a side of breakfast home fries. Along with half a liter of beer, my portion of the bill came out to be $50 including tips which I’d say is pricey for what I received. Service is nice and cordial.

Loved it!
Found this place by accident, looking for restaurants in Whitestone area. What a happy accident! Great location, parking was easy to find, and beautiful interior.
We had the the pretzel and croquettes appetizer, both were delicious! Pork schnitzel was perfect, and wurst sampler was absolutely delicious! Dessert was vanilla creme brulee and apple strudel, both delicious. Definitely going back to try more items on the menu.
Staff was attentive and food presentation was exceptional.

We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we went to this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We spent a delightful time there with great food and an experienced team and a professional chef. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall no doubt go again soon. Highly recommended.

Comfortable setting, good service. Thanks, Mike! Just the right amount of attentiveness. We had Sauerbraten and Weiner Schnitzel. Both were tasty. We are German and the Sauerbraten was tender and the pickled flavor spot on. The spatzel was good but would like dumplings as an alternative. The appetizer was the jagerhaus croquettes-very yummy. Portions are more than enough to satisfy the biggest eaters.dessert: the Chocholate raspberry cheesecake was deeelicious! Street parking only but it is ample and good neighborhood. We recommend this place highly to all.

A good local German restaurant. Some items are a bit pricey like $11.00 for deviled eggs as an appetizer, but their main dishes are pretty good and decently priced.

The place offers a vast range of fresh food. I love eating here. The employees are always kind, prices are reasonable and the spot is always well organised.

Delicious food with great beers! I got the flight which was a pretty good deal with 5 different beers. Also very authentic German food with great Schnitzel. We sat out on the patio which was very nice, and the restaurant inside was very clean.

Since the original owners sold the business, the quality of the food has steadily declined and has been hit or miss. They have also begun to ask patrons to show proof of their covid vaccination status. I will no longer support this establishment in person or thru delivery apps.

We had my daughter's baby shower there yesterday. It was a lovely day, all around. Everyone left very happy, and everyone can't way to go back to Jagerhaus to eat their delicious food. People are still texting, ranting, and raving what a great time they had yesterday. Obviously the atmosphere, and delicious food had a lot to do with it. Great owners, great waitresses, great chef, and a special thanks to Mike, and Chris for a job well done. Thank you to everyone at Jaegerhaus for making my daughter's baby shower a huge success.
