TRY CALLING TOO, MAKE APPOINMENT OR ASK FOR WALK-IN. AND, SOMEONE KEEP HANG UP, PHONE. THAT, WHAT U CALL, BAD SERVICE!

One worker can spoil the whole bunch, a hispanic customer service rep that greeted me was totally arrogant. I didnt blow a gasket I kept composed. Other were accommodating.

Had an amazing experience with Ms Candace during my aero laser session. She was kind and gentle. Did my session with great care. It was my first time going to this location I will definitely keep my session at this location.

I’ve been going to this office for one year. The providers that I’ve seen were wonderful. Verna, PA and Navjit, PA are very knowledgeable and addressed my issues. The reason for my low rating is due to my horrible experience with Forest Hills Dermatology billing department. They stopped mailing me my bills for co-insurance. I assumed that my insurance covered everything since I never heard from them after three initial times. I paid all my bills on time. I had a nagging feeling to call them to inquire about not ever being mailed a bill for my last visit. Then, they told me I owed them $587.26! I told them that’s incorrect and for the dates of service they mentioned, I paid them in full. However, Forest Hill Dermatology billing department lost all records of the payments I’ve made except one. I literally paid them over $300 hundred dollars and they had no records at all! Manager Zach M.got very nasty with me over the phone. Telling me that what I needed to do was call my insurance to ask them why they don’t cover 100% of my treatment. He went on to say, “I don’t know why you would want to pay all this money for these treatments! ” Which is none of his business. I was turned off and disgusted. I’m grateful that I keep meticulous records. I was able to prove that I paid them and they credited my account. I paid them the balance. I spoke to Zach M’s supervisor. I think his supervisor’s name was Crystal McKenna. She made excuses for him. It’s not what he did, it’s how he interacted with me. I didn’t like it at all. Customer service goes a long way. So does service recovery. I did not get that at all. Ms. McKenna told me if I ever had any issues with any bills again to call and ask for her. I told her that you will never hear from me again because I will never go back to that office because of my experience with the billing department. They don’t notify patients that there are bills and treat you like your guilty of owing them unless you prove it with receipts. They should have that. Their record keeping is sub par. Stay away from them.

Service is awful, staff is not friendly at all I been in three different locations and is the same. Always issues with medication and delivery.

I would never ever recommend anyone to this place ever again y’all need to teach your receptionist how to learn customer service I prefer south ozone infinity they know how to deal with customer

I had been looking for a dermatologist of color who dealt with people of color for quite sometime. Unfortunately my experience was not a good one. First of all I was not greeted with a warm greeting by the receptionist which was quite off-putting. Secondly, the wait time was 1hr and a half even though I was on time. After inquiring as to why it was taking so long, I was informed that there is only one doctor avilable Wednesday. This is information that should be given at the time I made the appointment. To my dismay I had to leave without being seen. If you are the only doctor on staff, more consideration should be given when scheduling appointments so that patients are not overlapped and having to experience long wait times. People should not have to wait 2 hrs for an appointment. I was really looking forward to seeing Dr. Howard.

I was in search of a dermatologist of color for some years. Especially after my last two appointments with different doctors. I came across Dr. Howard when I was researching some weeks ago. I had my appointment today Feb 23. I arrived 30 minutes early and was told by front desk they let patients in 15 minutes before their appointment. Since it was my first time it is okay. I have not heard that from any other office to date even with Covid. I was told it be a wait but I waited maybe 10 minutes before being called into the room where the assistant asked questions. I waited another 20 mins give or take before seeing Dr. Howard. I feel the appointment went well but feel it was rushed towards the ends. I am sure she has rooms of patients since she is their just once a week. I do not think I ever got an annual at the dermatologist as they would just check my problem areas. Dr. Howard explained what the annual would consist of and explained the spots on my body and but in a prescription. I did not realize until I left I had a few more questions to ask. I guess I have to make another appointment to get the full annual done.

Last time I will be visiting this office. When I was there, there was already a lady there complaining of waiting 2 hours past her appointment time, adding this this was her second time experiencing this. I witnessed the front desk ladies give her an attitude about it. My wait was an hour past appointment time. My experience with the doctor could have been better considering the lack of greeting & a rude farewell.

Worst place to go they hang up your call and just to talk to doctors you have to go though attitudes and hanging up the call not trying to help the patient I gave my blood and I just want to know what’s going on and they act like they really don’t care very irresponsible patient service they don’t care

My doctor, Doc Howard is really great with her patients. Happy to find a female dermatologist who works in her patients best interests

This is the 2nd time that I have been to this office, to see Dr. Howard and both times, I had to wait at least 30 minutes before seeing her. Actually, the first time I was scheduled to see her, they canceled at the last minute, without any explanation. I decided to give her another chance and still did not end up seeing her today, as I had another appointment to get to! What's most frustrating about this is the fact that these doctor's always expect for their patients to be on time and will charge a fee if they are more than 15 minutes late.but rarely extend the same in return! I guess there are no consequences for them wasting our time however, my time is just as much valuable as anyone else's!

If I make a concerted effort to arrive on time, I expect to be seen shortly thereafter! It's unfortunate because more times than not, I have similar experiences when patronizing businesses that are either black-owned or in predominantly Black environments! I will not be returning here again nor will I suggest this practice to anyone. It's time to do better by your own!

When I found this place i was happy because it was convenient to me. The wait wasn't all that bad and most of the staff that i have encountered here I cannot complain about in regards to services but.
I have been given the run around in regards to getting laser hair removal from under my chin. I don’t have a bad problem with hair under my chin i would say maybe around 4 or five that are always sticking me and are ingrown also. The first time i spoke with a physician i got the ok to book an appointment to schedule for laser treatments two weeks from the time i was there. I book the app and specifically told the lady it was for laser and i got my appointment. When the day came for my app i was told they don’t do laser treatments that day which was a bummer but i was ok with it so I rescheduled. I remember while rescheduling i told the receptionist it was for laser treatment under the chin and she says “ there might be a charge”. After speaking with the physician she said i am good to go my insurance will cover it. The week before my app i got a call saying they were overbooked and couldn’t accommodate me for the date of my original app, so she wanted to reschedule me but that was not convenient for me so she told me there is another affiliated location on rockaway blvd so i said ok i would go there and the app was made. Arrived at my appointment excited to get my treatment only to be told that there is a charge for the treatment of which i desire so i told the physician that i was given the ok by the other physician that my insurance would cover it and she blatantly said no it will not and that is fraud and she won’t be doing the treatment because it is fraud to let my insurance pay for it. I told her ok i would just rebook at the other location and she said she would be the same one that would be at the other location and the answer remains the same. Wow! My concern is if it was “fraud” from the beginning then why was i given the run around? Why was my appointment booked with the ok that my insurance will pay? Wasted my time! Called to lodge a complaint and was told the manager will reach out to me. Called on separate occasions and haven’t gotten one response from a manager and it has been five days now. The only person that seems compassionate was the receptionist who showed interest to my concern and apologized. I will not be returning convenient or not this is honestly not the way you treat your patients.

Wait is long, you will NEVER meet Dr. Jeffrey Weinberg.instead you'll get a bunch of nurse practitioners that barely look at you but will try to prescribe you something based off someone else's notes. Verna is the only decent one and it's not guaranteed you'll get her. Lisa, Barbara and another one whose name starts with a "M" are clearly there for the check. Do your research and find another office that respects their clients

Today was my first vist and the reception at the front dest was very nice and friendly and the place is very clean i would highly recommend this place to any one.

The staff here is friendly and professional! This is the best dermatology office. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for dermatologist to take care of your needs
