Good service but why would you knowingly sell bad food told me this wasn’t their best they sold out but I could have what they had

Very bad experience. Ordered Rasta pasta (pictured) and stewed chicken with rice and peas (not pictured). Rasta pasta had boiled, unseasoned chicken with 2 pieces of pepper and watery Alfredo sauce. Didn’t taste like anything. The stewed chicken was flavorless and had more bones than meat. Rice and peas was flavorless. Customer service was horrible, the staff acted like we were doing them a disservice by visiting their establishment. Spent $40 on two meals and an order of plantains that were also flavorless. Not a good experience at all, would not recommend.

I ordered through Doordash. Food was hot! Everything seasoned just right! This is a large plate. I also ordered the $10 extra oxtail. (Which was worth it). I will order from here again.

Moved from Jacksonville, FL a couple of years ago and would eat Jamaican food weekly so I was looking forward to Jamaica Cuse. 2 visits over the past 6 months. The first time the rice and peas were very flavorful while the jerk chicken was lacking in flavor and spices. 2nd time (today) - the rice and peas were very bland. The Empanadas are very good. Both times I have went I did not feel very welcomed. I will go again because it is convenient and the Empanadas were good. A hello or smile goes a long way. Looking forward to trying the chicken soup.

This restaurant needs to put more LOVE in their food and knowledge of authentic Jamaican cuisine. Sorry to say, I was disappointed! The atmosphere was comfortable though, and I loved the music

Order curry chicken and rice. I was looking for the chicken. Food was water down and old. Rice definitely was over cooked.

Our experience at Jamaican Cuse was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Tino, the owner, and his team have truly created a gem in Syracuse.

The star of the show was undoubtedly the culinary genius, Chef Jomo. The flavours that he infused into the dishes were nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The Curry Goat was tender, succulent, and bursting with aromatic spices that transported us straight to the heart of Jamaica. The Jerk Chicken was a delightful dance of smoky and spicy notes, perfectly grilled to juicy perfection. Let's not forget the Beef Patties - flaky, golden, and generously stuffed with a flavorful filling that left us craving more.

The attention to detail in each dish showcased Chef Jomo's passion for his craft. It's evident that he takes pride in delivering an authentic Jamaican culinary experience. The combination of traditional recipes and a modern twist made every bite a celebration of flavors.

Our dining experience was elevated not only by the outstanding food but also by the warm and attentive service provided by the staff. Tino's dedication to ensuring every guest feels at home is truly commendable. The ambiance, the service, and, of course, the phenomenal food make Jamaican Cuse a must-visit for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience.

In a city filled with dining options, Jamaican Cuse stands out as a shining star. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates, eager to return for another culinary journey curated by Chef Jomo and the hospitality of Tino and his team. This restaurant is a true gem, and we can't recommend it highly enough!

Used to go to this place for like a solid year. Now, food looks dry. Went there today and we were waiting nearly 10 minutes to order. Meanwhile, they had a female customer just standing around, eating at the register. There are at least 3 workers there. No one took our order or even paid us attention. Some of the workers were just sitting around eating, still not one of them asked our order. Then, a WORKER came up to the register and was served. Meanwhile, we still hadn't been served. It wasn't until we finally said something, that 1 of the workers decided to pay us attention. We just left and told him nevermind. Used to be my fav jamaican spot but now will not be going back there ever again. Don't waste y'all time. Go somewhere where customer service matters.

Super expensive $25.00 plate of meat, rice & salad. And everything on the side $6.00 a piece no matter what it was. So a small flat patty with barely no beef $6.00! Slice bread $6.00! Slice of anything $6.00 that’s crazy.

I got some chicken Rasta pasta from here. First pasta I had didn’t have any chicken and looked like plain Alfredo sauce with bell peppers mixed in noodle. I went back in and got the same thing but chicken in it wasn’t worth 17$. Extremely bland and wasn’t giving Rasta no spice what so ever extremely disappointing

I've never had Jamaican food till today. The chicken curry, rice with beans and plantains were awesome! Extremely flavorful and chicken was moist and tender! Those two little plantains were so sweet and a great finish to the meal. Thanks for a great dinner, wishing you the best Jamaica cuse!

We went there for the first time last weekend before a show. The food was fantastic, the people were friendly, and the atmosphere is great! I loved the beef hand pie, it is amazing, spicy, delicious, wrapped in a pastry hand pie shell.
