JANE Motorcycles reviews
17 Be sure about your purchase because they don't accept returns.
It’s out of the ordinary for a store not to accept returns, so really this brand should be going out of their way to make that clear at the point of purchase - not just on a returns page.
Though I suspect if they did do that people would be more apprehensive of purchases, perhaps something they don’t want.
Bit disappointing from a brand that otherwise has nicely designed and well made products.
There were no good comments in the reviews, but that's not the case when I visited. They were very polite and helpful. All the motorcycles on display were very cool. I want to stop by again when I come to New York.
What a great concept. A coffee shop inside a motorcycle specialty shop. Their clothing and bikes are next level cool. Really cool ducatis and scramblers in there. The coffee was good too but the vibe is what makes it great coffee. Trying to get everyone I know to come here.
My fav place to go when in the city. I’m a big motorcycle enthusiast and seeing the bikes in the shop is phenomenal. The clothes are outstanding quality and coffee is on European quality. Worth every penny that shop
The bikes are hot and the coffee is fast. The merchandise is really neat. The bikes are pieces of art. Well worth stopping in.
Imagine if a bunch of dorks who were picked last for gym class are finally able to grow a beard at age 35 so they decide it’s finally time cash in their hip points and open a store front that seems to pride itself on providing bad coffee and horrible customer service. This place is staffed almost entirely with a bunch of white dudes who almost certainly their news from VICE and go out on weekends looking for 22 year old girls to give HPV.
READ RETURN POLICY BEFORE YOU RECOMMEND TO ANYONE OR BUY YOURSELF.
Received a jacket as a gift from my mom. Sizing and fit just wasn't right. Needed to split shipping for the return, but generally just didn't feel like I wanted to do business with the brand. Tried to return the gift fully so I didn't have to own a jacket from them.but looks like I'm stuck with it.
Again make sure you really really want something from them before you buy. In general I'd stay away they don't seem to give too many cares about the customer.
Updating post because I realized there are about a dozen other posts about this companies customer service and attitude. They do not seem like nice people.
The owner is intensely unpleasant. I’d recommend supporting another business. Very very bad vibes.
Place has very chill vibes. Plus their clothing/gear is awesome made with high quality fabrics. Even my grandma would approve.
Very aesthetically pleasing on the inside. Nice clothes. Cool bikes and decent coffee. Staff is not that friendly nor welcoming in my opinion and could use better customer service skills (especially if they want tips) but it is what it is.
Unprofessional, barista gives himself a tip from square tablet without telling you. Very sneaky. They can keep their empty hipster shop.
Edit for response: There was no clear sign, please don't pull "read the fine print" on me. If you want people to know about your tip policy maybe literally place it right on Square tablet.
Purchased a pair of Norman Riding Pants - best moto pants I own, super comfortable, pockets for armor + look cool off the bike.hopefully, the Driggs Camo will go on sale to partner up with the Normans!
Staffed entirely by white men, not a very welcoming atmosphere at all. The coffee sucks and you’re better off going to Dunkin’ Donuts for it, and Union Garage for gear. Don’t be fooled, this is not the place to be.
Had to buy my first helmet and gloves for my motorcycle. The guy working there was super helpful and gave me lots of good advice for helmet fit and gloves.
Summer 2019 I went to buy a pair of ugly bros pants.they did NOT fit me properly. (No fault on Ugly bros) The knee pads reached my shin bone and were no where near my knees.the sales guy still insisted for me to buy them with not the best attitude. I hope that by now staff is better trained.
The definition of fake hipster, snobby, Williamsburg, bros meet motorcycle shop. Extremely rude and pertinacious. Do yourself a favor and go to Union Garage.
This establishment is snobby and unwelcoming in an egregious way, and word is quickly solidifying within the motorcycle community. Ive been to the shop a few times; the only friendly person in the store is a gentleman behind the counter, who speaks with a slight israeli accent. All of the others, are snobs, who simultaneously give off a "im very insecure" vibe. Clothing is well made, and fashionable, but a bit overpriced. The coffee is pedestrian at best. A bad attitude will sabotage any thing, every time. All in all, my days of visiting Jane, even for coffee, are over.
