Wonderful experience here — Henry was so incredibly helpful and answered all my questions, and made sure I had everything I needed to take on a paint job alone. Will be returning for sure.

This is my favorite Janovic location in the city. As a contractor it’s important to have staff that really know the products and service. The management and general staff are friendly and very helpful. Wait times for mixing paint is at a minimum and the finish colors are always great. I will certainly continue to use this location and recommend to others

Excellent store and art deco paint store whith high quality tools and paints for construction business in all manhattan.
I buy my painting tools at janovic, they have the best tools for my trade and at a fair price.

Paint desk is OK but I felt scammed by their window treatment desk. Almost $3000 for 3 rooms but the blinds were not done to specifications and we had to throw them all into the garbage. They did not take responsibility and refused to reimburse us. Horrible horrible customer service. I tried to reach the company itself through their website and Facebook page but they ignored my messages. I am telling everybody to stay away. I will never set foot in the store again.

Love this place! Kaci always provides very great customer service and is super helpful! We are treated very well every time we stop in and made painting our apt a very enjoyable experience! Highly recommend this place!

I have read many negative reviews regarding this Janovic location, but my experience was nothing but positive. The staff, especially Hubert and Dell, went out of their way to help me, answering any questions I had, making positive suggestions, and even recommending an amazing painter. Whatever issues may have existed in the past are gone. I strongly recommend giving this Janovic location a try. More than satisfied!

At the last minute, I needed to have a delivery scheduled and the store went out of their way to accommodate me. Henry was very calm through the entire interaction. I am very appreciative!

We recently moved to the neighborhood, and have had two occasions to shop at this location. Both were for paint-related needs, and the salespeople were patient, helpful and incredibly accommodating. I’m surprised by the poor reviews, because we’ve had quite the opposite experience - a smile & welcome each time we enter the store, and always someone offering to help. We’ll definitely be back to shop again!

Scott has given good advice and has been very helpful. Full range of painting supplies, though they've unfortunately stopped carrying Minwax products. Offer computer color matching to paint samples. New management and staff. We've lived in the neighborhood for decades, have worked with Janovic countless times and were always perfectly happy with the very friendly and extremely knowledgable former staff as well.

Wow what a great experience! The staff was incredibly informative, supportive, and patient. They gave me time to walk around, thank about what I really needed, and ask questions. I didn't feel pressured to buy and I felt as if they really wanted me to make the best choice for me. I'll be back soon!

I'll be honest, after reading the reviews on here I was very hesitant about getting my paint at this location but it's the closest to my house, so I just went in to give a look. My experience there was wonderful. I'm so grateful for their knowledge, advice and patience. Picking the right paint and colors can be pretty overwhelming but I left there excited about painting my apartment - when does that happen? ! =) Seriously, Tania was lovely and a huge help. Thank you, guys!

Janovic Paint and Decorating on 102 street and Broadway are outright thieves. They Charged me 163.31 to repair a shade in my home. The services guy showed up for less that 1 minute, said I needed, a part and never returned. Janovic never gave me a credit on my Visa card, although I was told by Janovic three times they would give me the credit.

This location is under new management. They’ve been a huge help to my husband and I. We love our blinds and wallpaper.
