Our LO has been attending since start of the school year, and we are very grateful for JCC's consistency in providing safe and wholistic childcare services during these difficult times; when many other daycares choose and pick when to open/close and what to do/not do at the whim of the moment. It just reflects their good work ethics.

They have overall good and involved management, and very nice and consistent teachers. There is also constant communications, from both teachers and management, so we are always aware of what is going on and what is planned for the future.

Our family is not jewish, but non the less, we have felt very welcomed by the community; and our LO has enjoyed the cultural diversity. There is normally much more community events, but understandably and cautiously so, this year those have been reduced or replaced by virtual events.

Finally, the space is also great. It's a newer building, with big windows, plenty of natural light, and a large outdoor dedicated area. It is close to Prospect Park so the kids get a lot of time outside when the weather's nice.

Overall very good experience so far, keep up the good work.

My son has attended the JCC Brooklyn at Windsor Terrace for the last 3 years. The families we have met in his class have become our community. The space is great. They have a nice size room for each of the 3 classes and an outdoor space. They are also in walking distance of Prospect Park and take advantage of it. Their program falls under the progressive umbrella of early childhood education. All of the teachers are different and great. The Jewish component of the program is a plus. They partner with Tkiya to provide music twice a week (pre-pandemic) and my son has learned Hebrew words and a lot about the Jewish holidays. He loves going to school every day!

We started sending our child to the JCC at Windsor Terrace for Pre-K. The experience was fantastic and our child made many great friends who are still friends three years later.

Although they no longer offer Pre-K, we continue to send our child to the JCC for after school and both mini and summer camps. The convenience of have both after school and camp at one nearby location is unparalleled. Mini camp fills all the gaps in the Department of Education schedule. After school does the same on the numerous half days that are spread throughout the academic year. The JCC also picks up the kids from school each day, even on half days when dismissal occurs at noon (at no additional charge).

Additionally, our child has enjoyed the continuity of being at the same place for all of these years. Although the kids in after school and camp change, the overall experience has remained consistent (organizational structure, facilities, and staffing), making each transitional experiences a little easier as our child gets older.

We can’t say enough about the value and quality that the JCC at Windsor Terrace offers our family.

My youngest spent two delightful years in Windsor Terrace's preschool program. He, and we, loved his teachers-all experienced, thoughtful, loving, progressive educators-and the play-based, child-led, emergent curriculum. His class spent daily time outside on the school playground and/or on local "field trips" to nearby playgrounds, parks, and businesses, and completed some amazing, classroom transforming projects based on students' interests. For example, in his 2s/3s class they recreated the local subway stop, first observing it in person and talking to the personnel who worked there, then constructing and painting a child-size booth and turnstile, even asking parents to donate old metrocards so they could swipe in. He's now in first grade, but still talks often about how much he misses his "old school! "

I found the administration disorganized. The teachers in our class were good but not sufficiently accommodating of kids with special needs. The teachers in other classes were downright nasty to the kids.

So grateful for JCC. Ms Debbie, the Director, the staff they are all awesome. I have 3 girls just imagine how difficult and almost impossible it is to find spots for all of them. At JCC they give you clear information and work with you if you need assistance enrolling etc. Everything is organized and I am at peace. The girls love the program and I am so please that I recommend JCC to my friends and entourage

Our son has been coming to the Windsor Terrace Summer Camp for the past 3 years. He loves the opportunity to be out "in the country" and yet not have to endure a long bus ride out of the city. He has made wonderful friends, loves the frequent swimming and field trips and is looking forward to being a CIT when he is old enough.

Visited many others in the area and finally settled down with Kings Bay Y Child Care. We had a really good experience at this daycare! The teachers were attentive and took good care of my daughter since the age of 1.5yo.

My 6 year old son lives with his mother in Brooklyn and she suggested this place for summer camp. When I inquired about it, the staff was very attentive and responsive. Once they got my payment, they were completely unresponsive. They have completely ignored multiple phones calls and email messages. I recommend you stay away from these people.
